Can you offer anything of substance or is your only defense being defensive?
Like i said i will only continue if you respect me. So please i don’t have time for madness. 😃

LOL well I guess we’re back in business… What a rush! Where did you get that “1000 posts” stuff anyway? 😃

Oops, never mind… I wonder why the person on the other thread said that, then. Oh well.

Nothing disrespectful has been said to you nor has any madness arisen on this thread.

Smitty, please tell me you weren’t this defensive when you were a protestant, too?! Is this a typical thing? I don’t think the guy even wants to speak objectively.

Technically I never was. Although I thought like one. But, no, I was never like that. However, I’ve seen it time and time again. Hopefully we’ve planted a seed that the Holy Spirit can work on and maybe we’ll see them back soon.

I just sent them an email asking them to come back and apologizing for any offense I caused them. Maybe all of us should?

Gotcha. I have friends who were the same way, though born “Catholic”. Beyond all the walls he tried to put up, I’m sure we did at least force him to think critically beyond being spoonfed doctrine by his pastor.

I think you’re right. 👍 It was funny how we would refute everything they said sentence-by-sentence and all they could come back with was “don’t judge me” and “let’s just get along.”

No you didn’t. I asked you to define “worship”. I can clip and paste the defination from dictionary.com again.

What is YOUR defination of worship?
Um, kujo why are you quoting yourself?

Edit: never mind, I guess the quote box in your post was a typo.

It’s disappointing that you say you left the Church because it’s teachings are against those of Christ but you won’t even answer simple questions like whether or not you are infallible or why you reject Christ in the Eucharist. It seems you are accusing me of being disrespectful to avoid answering these easy questions. The first one is a yes or no answer. Surely you can answer that.

He says his mother doesn’t judge him but I am sure she is praying for him to see the truth. Maybe it was her prayers that got him here.

What, is his mother Catholic? I don’t feel like going backward through a potential 5+ more pages of text to find out… 😃

Not even that, but it’s disrespectful of him for not answering them considering it took time and effort to type them up.

My apologies. I misundestood your original post.

I think “the act of prayer or actions dedicated to praising God” would sum up how I would define worship.

Yes. But she doesn’t judge him/her and he/she will still go to a Catholic church with the family sometimes.
