I did not slam a community. I only wanted to say the true. This is not a traditional community as the traditionalist say it. Also, I only said true things! Is it so bad to advise traditional women that this is not a traditional community with tridentine mass! No, I think it is a charity because somme communities try to catch vocations without saying who they really are. AND I MENTION NO COMMUNITY’ ’ i say it as it is and even some nuns recognize it. It happens and we have to be knowing it. Then we choose in truth and knowledge. And I do not aim a community.
There are three gates by which I try to evaluate what I say (something I learned from Richard Rohr). I’m not always successful because I too am a sinner but here they are:
  1. is it true? If it is verifiably true (and not a matter of opinion or conjecture) then you pass to gate 2:
  2. is it charitable. In this case it manifestly isn’t. You’re taking a very private conflict into a public forum.
  3. is it necessary to say? In this case, no, at least not on public forum. The persons involved can say it during a canonical visit if they want…
And yes you did identify the abbey specifically in the post that was deleted which is why I asked the mods to delete it. And in your subsequent posts… well as Melchior notes there are people here who can clearly identify the abbey… there’s only one abbey of Benedictine women on the outskirts of Montreal, everyone who bothers to check will know exactly who you’re talking about.

I certainly know the abbey, I know its chaplain very well (he was my Gregorian chant teacher and choirmaster for several years), and I have met several of the sisters there.

It clearly therefore offends me to read continued criticism of the abbey. And it is, I repeat, against forum rules.

there are 3 benedictines abbey in less than 2 hours from here ! not 1

By “outskirts of Montreal”, I really mean that. It is in suburban Montreal and at the end of the commuter train line. The others are in Joliette and Mt. Laurier.

also the vermont one wich is under the Quebec juridiction because it is a foundation

Well, My message was taken out. I just want to say that you shall not recommand a community here as a traditional community when it is not traditional. Ora and Labora shall not recommand it here but in an other forum. Those benedictines are not traditionnal and peoples from tradition shall know it. because some women had big deception because of false information about it.
yes it was, probably because of the following
Let’s talk about clergy and religious . . .
Negative and rude comments toward clergy (deacons, priests and bishops) or toward religious and religious orders are banned.
Everyone, online and offline, deserves to be spoken to and about respectfully. However, some posters seem to feel that clergy and religious are fair game.
If you have an issue with them, take it up in private, not on this forum or any of our forums.
You may cite something from another source, if you are not using it to further an agenda. Agenda posting is not allowed.
If we deem that you are disrespectful to our clergy and religious, you will receive an infraction or even a ban.
and you are continuing in that. this is really frowned on.
