Hello IndyAnn, do you also ask St Joseph to pray with you. You know he is fabulous intercessor. Probably the best there is.
He speaks to his “wife” and precious “son” Jesus for us and can you imagine these two saying no to Joseph. Nah cannot happen.
God Bless
GraceAngel.
Hello Grace Angel,

Of course you are so right. I will have to remember to ask for his intercession more often. I am afraid that he is one of the most forgotten Saints. Sadly, I seem to only remember him around his feast days and at Christmas.

There is a beautiful large statue of him and the Child Jesus above the side altar in one of the churches that I go for Adoration. Each week I am happy that St. Joseph always has a beautiful bouquet of flowers at his feet. Sometimes, even bigger than the Blessed Mother’s.

Now I know this is silly, but I have wondered if the BVM is jealous. (of course, I know that she could not be)Pretty silly, huh?😃

But thank you for mentioning about asking him to pray with me. I will try to remember.

Indyann I have never known him to let anyone down.
He is fabulous.
God Bless and may St Joseph hold you enfolded in his beautiful cloak.

Heck yes! I am Child of Mary. We all are.

On the other hand, are YOU a bishop or Pope?

As you say I don’t recall that the Laity had any responsibility to do the Consecration. It was the Pope and the Bishops in Union with him…

So being that we are laity and not the Pope and Bishops in Union with him, our part, is our part. Sitting around speculating about theirs is NOT our part.
I apologise for the sarcasm but the point that I am trying to make is that we the Laity, aren’t required to do the Consecration. I disagree that we are “sitting around speculating about theirs is NOT our part”. Sometimes our children (metaphorically speaking) will have to remind us of our duties and this is how I see we are doing that.
