Recently I visited a Catholic family who wished for me to view their private chapel within their home.
The chapel was actually the largest room in their home and contained life size statues
of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Our Lady of Fatima, a altar, 5 foot long crucifix, stations of the cross and numerous other statues of saints. Also the chapel had several prayer
kneeler’s.
When I asked them where they attended Holy Mass they replied that they refuse to go to
any Mass for many years now, as they believe all Masses are invalid.
They suggested I do the same, and gave me their reasons why.
I told them that this is not how I would wish to honor my Catholic faith, and that there are
many Catholic churches that do not embrace modernism fully.
I am curious as to how many Catholics do the same form of worship in this country, with just remaining in their private chapel in their home only, and not receiving the Body and the
Blood of Jesus?
This was a unique experience for me indeed.
