I did not equate Nazism with conservatism; I said it was a Far Right party, and indeed it was. The discussion of the meaning of socialism for the Nazis deserves a separate thread. Suffice it to say, your definition of these terms is not complete.

You associated Catholicism with Nazism, saying that the Catholic Church or Catholic Germans especially, supported Nazism. This isn’t true.

Nazism is far right if the only other choice is Communism.

Where did I associate Catholicism, the Catholic Church, or Catholic Germans with Nazism? I did no such thing on this thread or any other thread. Based on what I’ve read, the Catholic Church fought against the Nazis. Please re-read my comments before making such accusations.

I haven’t seen any posts like that.Meltzerboy seems to have a good knowledge of the tenants of Catholicism and have never seen a post of his that I would construe as anti-Catholic.That is a very serious accusation.Please back it up or an apology is in order.

They are different ideologies but, in a sense, two sides of the same coin, as extremists tend to be. But I would say communism rather than socialism. And, again, socialism for the Nazis took on a different meaning.
