It will make a huge difference to some people, and to some people it will make no difference at all.
From my perspective:But a justice system does not have to prove his innocence. They have to prove his guilt.
Now there is doubt to his guilt.
Not in the eyes of people like Jackson and Sharpton. There is only factor they think about. But a justice system does not have to prove his innocence. They have to prove his guilt.

You are correct. It won’t. Especially not if it’s sourced from Fox.myfoxtampabay.com/dpp/news/state/witness-martin-attacked-zimmerman-03232012
I doubt this will quiet the controversy and get people to let investigators do their job, but meh.
How often they get their face on the evening news. Not in the eyes of people like Jackson and Sharpton. There is only factor they think about.
+1From my perspective:
Zimmerman calls police. Reports Martin.
Police ask if he is following Martin.
Zimmerman confirms. Police tell Zimmerman to STOP following him and that a unit is on the way.
Not only does Zimmerman continue following him, but gets out of his vehicle and confronts him.
This much we know: Zimmerman initiated the conflict after being told by police to stop. Had he not taken the law into his own hands, police would have resolved the issue without anyone losing their lives. But since Zimmerman couldn’t control himself, the result of his vigilantism is a young man dead.
He should be charged with manslaughter AT LEAST.
Case closed.

Zimmerman is half Hispanic and looks Hispanic and lives in the same gated community with Martin. When you listen to his calls he sounds scared. In the beginning, he says that Martin is looking at him and coming toward him, that he looks like he on drugs -,this is prior to him following him. Later you hear I believe Zimmerman screaming for help. Did he overstep his community watch - that will be up to them to decide. There are many of these groups - one of the biggest being the guardian angels that rode the subways of New York.Case closed.
Sadly this is all very true.:sad_yes: As many of us have stated repeatedly this could have all been avoided if Zimmerman had simply listened to the 911 operator and waited for the police to arrive.A firearm is a deadly weapon that must not be used just because you are “afraid”…certainly getting ones butt beat in a confrontation is cause to be fearful but it does not call for deadly force. And if you are energetically injecting oneself into this confrontation you need to be mindful that no one enjoys being followed as if you are a felon when you are not. This situation is entirely the result of Zimmerman’s desire to play police officer and since he liked to do this he wanted to be armed just in case some one he suspected did not like his actions. Martin did not like his actions and now he is dead and Zimmerman needs to take responsibility for it but Florida authorities are digging in their heels. Now the feds are going to get involved and the end result will be that all gun owners and lawfully gun carrying citizens will lose some of their right to do so.

Deeming “black” as suspicious is beyond the pale.If you can’t even recognize suspicious behavior/clothing you will never be able to give an identity.
They sacrificed their credibility, when they turned the civil rights movement into a force supporting abortion. Previously, it was against it, and Jesse Jackson himself was apparently against it until, money started talking to him. Now they can hardly make a coherent sentence let alone, a logical viewpoint. How often they get their face on the evening news.
I agree, but I don’t get why you keep bringing race into this.Deeming “black” as suspicious is beyond the pale.
Abortion? What? Where did that come from? They sacrificed their credibility, when they turned the civil rights movement into a force supporting abortion. Previously, it was against it, and Jesse Jackson himself was apparently against it until, money started talking to him. Now they can hardly make a coherent sentence let alone, a logical viewpoint.
Exactly. And, according to some sources, the Sanford Police Dept. has a history of racial apathy. One homeless black man was violently assaulted by a young white man outside of a bar who was let go with no charges. After public outcry, police admitted, “We just weren’t doing our jobs that night.” I’m a little appalled by some of the comments I’ve been reading here on various threads that are so dismissive of racism. Being a Southerner who grew up in a very mixed environment, I know how real racism is. I’ve seen it from both sides. I’ve had to listen to so much hateful talk throughout my life, I could fill 10 books with it. I’ve worked with people who gleefully reminisced on times their grandfathers burned down blacks’ houses and beat them as they fled. It’s horrifying.+1
I don’t know why he hasn’t been arrested. Wouldn’t he be a “person of interest,” at the very least, for their investigation? It is possible to be detained (arrested) without being charged with anything. That’s very common, actually. Florida’s P.D. look like the Keystone Kops right now.
A law-abiding child was killed.I wasn’t trying to make anything about behavior. I’m trying to keep the emotional, toss Zimmerman to the sharks crowd from controlling the discussion.
Sorry, but that is not an established fact. By all accounts Martin was not a burglar, which was Zimmerman’s suspicion, but it may well be that he reacted violently to Zimmerman’s questioning, pursuing and attacking him. That is criminal.A law-abiding child was killed.
Those are the most relevant facts.
Zimmerman’s history of 911 calls:I agree, but I don’t get why you keep bringing race into this.
