So with all this legal and military experience here what did Mr Zimmerman do right? Nothing is the resounding answer.

… and that person was a child.
He died as a child.
Georgie outweighed him by 50 to 100 lbs.

George killed a CHILD.
No dispute about that fact.
A child who punched him in the face and was slamming his head in the concrete. I’m sure that asking Martin for his birth certificate didn’t cross his mind as his head was bouncing off the concrete.

By your own logic, Mr. Martin was half a foot taller than the man he brutally assaulted and in much better physical condition seeing as Mr. Zimmerman is an obese 5’9" man.

And what did Mr. Zimmerman do that was illegal? Nothing is the resounding answer unless new evidence is brought to light.

But far be it for argument over crime to concern itself with pesky details like the law.

But how would Zimmerman have know Martin was a child from looking at him? It’s pretty hard to tell the difference between a 17 year old and an 18 year old.

Don’t you go bringing facts into a perfectly good emotional tirade. The media needs to sell newspapers. Circulation is dying out here, dang it!

This thread, in a nutshell:

Person A: “I’m emphasizing facts that point to Zimmerman’s guilt!”

Person B: “Yeah, well I’m emphasizing facts that support Zimmerman’s defense!”

Person A: “Yes, but my facts are the important ones!”

Person B: “No! Mine are the ones that matter!”

:slapfight:

Why can’t we all just settle down and wait to see what happens. 😦

He should have LISTENED to the 911 advice,
followed it and NOT relied on his own eyes saying
“that’s one big bad suspicious-looking man.”

Way more than “too bad” that he didn’t do so.

Again, your opinions and the law diverge so wildly. Having no felony record and having a concealed carry permit Mr. Zimmerman was within his legal rights to carry his firearm.
Well apparently the jury is still out on that one. But of course you think your opinion is the only one that counts
Fool or not, it was in no way illegal for Mr. Zimmerman to be where he was, carrying his licensed firearm.
Still out on that one also as we see in Fla, But once again somehow you think you opinion is more relevant.
According to the body of evidence presented, it was illegal for Mr. Martin to commit the aggravated assault that lead to his death.
Thank You Mr Attorney still waiting on you law degree?
Depending on how political the process becomes, “see in court” will probably result in a failed attempt at indictment followed by another round of media sensationalism unless new evidence is introduced.
Ah opinion and speculation by our attorney at CAF. But you probly believe your right I have no doubt.
Unless you ascribe to a theory that the local police, county police, and D.A.'s office were all in cahoots to bury this thing.
I suscribe to the theory it was horror show started by My Zimmerman who had no clue what he was doing, and a local joke for police who also were “lacking” as we all see. But you probly feel everything is fine in Dixie. Obviously not. Contributing to the fact is his numerous calls of 911, which were false alarms. Maybe there was a sign someone should have seen then?

Outside of the report that he DID stop following him and was walking back to his truck when the CHILD punched him and started bouncing his head on the pavement. Why did the CHILD feel the need to assault a grown man?

A man armed with a gun killed an unarmed
child, following the child against 911’s advice.

That’s the entire story.
Who can defend it?
I surely can’t.
You can’t even get the reported facts of the story right, no wonder you can’t explain why Zimmerman did what he did. 🤷

Except he did follow their advice. When the 911 call ended he was not pursuing Martin, he was heading back to his vehicle to meet the police.

Started and ended by Zimmerman — against the clear advice of 911.

He walked away.
He sure did after pursuing what he confirmed to be perp. And he turns his back at the most critical moment? With a firearm. A horror show and a man who should be Fishing not looking for crimes with a firearm.

He was never in control of the situation at any point. And as a result theres a dead 17yo tonight.

That would be according to Zimmerman.
Dead children are such unreliable witnesses.

If the child thought Z was going for a gun - it’s no surprise if he jumped Z.

If he was in control, he wouldn’t have a broken nose or grass stains on his back.
