Sent to me by a friend on Facebook. Something to consider.

Dear Vice President Biden,
Although I refused to listen to it, I understand that during your presidential acceptance speech, you were calling for the unity of Trump supporters.
  • I remember four years ago President Trump also called for unity. I remember how Congressional members of your Democratic Party responded by boycotting his inauguration.
  • I remember how you and your Democratic party cheated and used the greatest law enforcement institution of this country to spy on President Trump’s campaign.
  • I remember how you and your Democratic Party created a fake Russian dossier to try and impeach our President Trump.
  • I remember how your speaker of the house ripped up President Trump’s beautiful State of the Union speech on National TV.
  • I remember how you and your Democratic Party tried to impeach President Trump over a Ukraine phone call. You accused President Trump of pay to play. Come to find out Joe, it was really you and your son Hunter.
  • I remember how you and your Democratic Party blamed President Trump over a pandemic that he had nothing to do with.
  • I remember how you and your Democratic Party encouraged rioting and looting of my great United States of America.
  • I remember how you and your Democratic Party used the media to spread lie after lie about President Trump.
  • I remember how you and your Democratic Party stole the election from President Trump. This Trump supporter remembers all that, Joe, and I will NOT be unifying with your Democratic Party. This Trump supporter will be giving you the same respect you gave President Trump.

I’m sure when Joe Biden reads this he’s gonna be so mad.

I wonder if your friend remembers anything else that didn’t actually happen the way they characterized it?

As an aside, the people who talk about Trump like he’s their boyfriend (“my President Trump…”) are really strange.

Not to be rude, but why do you feel we need to consider this?
It was just a remembrance of the nasties that took place with President Trump from the DOC. As a “consideration,” should we respect Biden’s call for “unity?”

Perpetuates the cycle. Productive and honest discussion is going to be hard enough without this perpetual gotcha claim. Biden won and will do what he’s going to do. The mainstream media will continue it’s deceptions, but it’s self destructing anyway.
So just be a Christian first.

As an aside. I wish your friend formatted this in a downward list format. Not a wall of text.

If your friend’s intention was to have it reach a large group of people, It would make it a lot easier to read

I’m not American, so please feel free to ignore my opinion - but I think after an election, everyone needs to come together. I thought that after Trump was elected and some were refusing to accept him as their President. At some point, one side needs to be the bigger one and try to come together.

Now do one where you discuss how Republicans treated Obama. I remember deciding day 1 he’d be a one term president, and I remember them failing. I remember racist memes and posts all over the internet. I remember repeatedly questioning his citizenship, including Trump claiming he had very interesting evidence that he still hasn’t presented. I remember laying the economy that Bush left him at his feet and denying any of the growth subsequent years saw. I remember people calling his wife a transexual and a tyrant for trying to improve school lunches. I remember Obama being compared to Hitler because of his health care bill. I remember leaving huge numbers of federal vacancies open and I remember refusing to seat a new supreme court justice, something they seemed to forget all too quickly themselves. I remember the anger over a tan suit.

I remember arugula.

See how petty we can all be when we want to be?

I edited my friend’s submission, lest someone believe it was my own post.

In “remembering” I was appalled when Pelosi ripped up his State of the Union speech in front of the entire TV audience. It spoke volumes about her character!

I remember having to unfollow a good friend on Facebook because they absolutely would not stop with the Obama bashing. With so much repeatedly debunked garbage that it made me ill. And I didn’t vote for him either time, so make of that what you will.

Yes, that was a tacky, classless move. I’m just not sure someone can criticize lack of class or decorum and simultaneously defend Trump.

I agree, she was quite childish in doing that especially knowing she was on national TV. She isn’t my rep but as a democrat I would like to see them elect a new Speaker.

Honest question, how did you feel when Republicans got up and started walking out before Obama finished his final state of the union address?

Here’s something related, and kind of sums up how I feel about Joseph Robinette Biden:
Only in America, is making sure an election is fair, considered a threat to democracy.

It will be an uphill battle to retain our religious freedom.

We must RESIST even the smallest encroachment on it.

I did not watch this address. But the situation is similar - RUDE!

I think so. For me personally. I prefer more paragraph breaks and a list format when reading things on my cell phone.

Most people nowadays read forum posts on the small screen on their phones.

I think when people make forum threads or Facebook posts they need to remember that their audience is probably reading their posts on a small screen.

It’s easier on my eyes to have parapraph breaks or a list format on my small screen.

I think it has a lot do with the fact that I am getting “older.”

I know people who can read whole books from their phones.

Thats not me though, it’s hard on my eyes.
