Trump accuses Obama administration of wiretapping Trump Tower phones

I agree 100%. I think he’s angry because as I said in a previous post they have been coming at him and his administrative like sharks and he’s just really defending himself and his administration.They can’t stop, and won’t even give him a chance to lead. It’s frustrating to leaders if you can’t lead.

I do think that the Democrats though want to paint him as being unstable and unfit, which shows they are biased and against thim. They are going to keep at this for the next 4 years and Trump needs to be on his toes.

I don’t know enough about the ins and outs of these claims but I think there are some serious questions about Clapper’s call here regarding the wiretapping given some of the controversies he has been involved in. Good points. I found it interesting he said he would have known but have read NSA should have never been involved in a domestic US election.

It wasn’t even like he tweeted simultaneously anyways. The posts were an 1hr+ apart.

Let’s insanely nitpick every little thing Trump does though, even though he was just setting the record straight and that Arnold wasn’t fired by him.

Maybe we should look back at some of Obama’s tweets…

Sorry - gotta jump in here really quick.

Flynn resigned (was fired) for lying about his contacts with Russia. Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigation after it was discovered that he lied about his contacts with Russia (under oath). How is this not evidence that the administration had ties and communications with Russia? Why lie? Those are the questions Americans want answered.

I also strongly suspect that Trump’s tax returns would show he has direct business dealings with Russia, which is why he has not wanted to release them. There is a reason.

The investigation is still ongoing. It will take awhile to complete. I get you are a Trump fan, but do yourself a favor and get your facts straight.

Please get your facts straight
  1. Sessions did not lie under oath about his contact with the Russian ambassador as a surrogate of the Trump campaign. He was a senator on the armed forces committee required to make this contact.
  2. Suspect all you want about President Trump’s tax returns. You have no right to see them.

You’re facts are wrong.

Flynn resigned because Trump couldn’t trust him after he failed to disclose to Pence that he spoke to the Russian Ambassador.

Sessions didn’t lie under oath he recused himself because he was involved in the campaign, further there is no evidence that there is even any active investigations occurring. Maybe try reading and looking closely at the questions poised to Sessions and the context of those questions. Under the law any ambiguity is construed in favor of innocence, and with potential misunderstandings, the lack of clarity is deemed the fault of the questioner, not the accused.

Simply speaking to the Russian Ambassador does not mean one is an agent of Russia or they have ties to them. The FBI has already said Flynn did nothing illegal and there is no evidence he did. One of Sessions meetings occurred in the context of his Senate responsibilities and had nothing to do with his role as a Trump-campaign surrogate. The Democrats spoke to the Russian Ambassador too and Obama met with him 22 times, are they agents of Russia too? :rolleyes:

Some information about Trumps tax returns have already been illegally leaked to the media. Also reportedly Trumps banking activities have been looked into as well, and no Russian connections have been found.

He lied when asked directly during his confirmation hearing what he would do if he found out the administration had Russian contacts. He stated that he has had no contact with Russia (despite not being asked that). He was later disproved. Confirmation hearings are conducted under oath.

Not so much a “right” to see the tax returns, as a healthy assumption that he must have something to hide. Otherwise, why not quell the debate and release them? Every other president has.

Regardless, I hope and semi-suspect they will be subpoenaed as part of the ongoing Russian ties investigation, so time will tell. 😉
