It’s only because the media and certain posters here are fixated on anything and everything they could use to label Trump as a disgrace and national embarrassment.
I think he’s doing a pretty good job of that all by himself. This administration is provoking dangerous enemies (N. Korea) and insulting important allies (G. Britain) in addition to sounding like a total nut (wiretapping.) He is diminishing the US on the world stage, ceding our position to China and Russia. We live in strange and scary times.

Russian sanctions, Iran deal, ISIS, yeah, right, the world was a perfect place when Obama was there.
You do realize ISIS was already in place before Obama was even president, right? And that Obama’s not the one who signed the troop withdrawal agreement?

Really dreading how awkward it will be if Pope Francis ever visits the WH. That’s the litmus test - even Obama was presidential with the pontiff.

It’s more than odd. It’s un-presidential and embarrassing. What an insult to the German people. Was he trying to make a point by being so rude? First with Mexico, then the 2fer today insulting both Germany and Ireland (courtesy of Pence.)
🤷 Who knows? There are a lot larger things wrong with this administration then Trump’s awkward social graces.

The definition of a great world leader for liberals is “anybody but Trump,” because their chosen one lost to him and they are still hurting. 🙂
So tired of reading these cop-out excuses. Hillary lost. It’s Trump’s time to shine, and people who did not support him during the election have every right to critique his actions. As do the many who voted for him and now regret it.

I really feel like this sort of thing is all I read from you, ever.

I don’t know of a single person who regrets voting for President Trump. If anything the country as a whole is elated!👍

Ummm you don’t have to try hard to see that people that voted for him regret making that choice.

I did not vote for him but am trying very hard to get behind him and give him the benefit of any doubt because he is our President…but he makes it extremely difficult.

Also getting really tired of hearing “you’re just sad Hillary lost” as a response every time someone criticizes trump. It’s a non sequitir, it’s lazy, and it assumes that everyone who dislikes trump must have liked Clinton.

Every time a trump supporter goes “yeah, well, trump beat Hillary” as though anyone was saying otherwise I just hear “I can’t defend trumps behavior so I’m going to attempt to change the subject.”

You don’t have to read anything you don’t want to.

This reminds me of an article that I read recently about how the USA has become more segregated by political affiliation and ideology; more often in recent times people tend to live in the communities of people that vote similar to themselves. One of the most significant changes that can occur in a person’s life to make them more understanding of other views is for people with those other views to be within their social group. It seems we have less of that and less understanding with each other in politics.

40% approval. 50% disapproval.
Not exactly showing elation.
To be fair, disapproving of his performance and regretting voting for him are two different things. I know a number of people who voted for him who are very unhappy with what he has done so far. They aren’t to the point of regretting their votes, but they may if he doesn’t improve, and keeps breaking his promises.

If anything I would say as a whole the country is pretty fickle and forgetful. They can go from anti-Trump to Christie to Sanders and then to Trump in less than a month. What’s it going to be a year from now? Every politician has a shelf life if they have one at all. While in office anyway. 🙂

What campaign promises has Trump broken?
