I think he’s doing a pretty good job of that all by himself. This administration is provoking dangerous enemies (N. Korea) and insulting important allies (G. Britain) in addition to sounding like a total nut (wiretapping.) He is diminishing the US on the world stage, ceding our position to China and Russia. We live in strange and scary times.

Also getting really tired of hearing “you’re just sad Hillary lost” as a response every time someone criticizes trump. It’s a non sequitir, it’s lazy, and it assumes that everyone who dislikes trump must have liked Clinton.

This reminds me of an article that I read recently about how the USA has become more segregated by political affiliation and ideology; more often in recent times people tend to live in the communities of people that vote similar to themselves. One of the most significant changes that can occur in a person’s life to make them more understanding of other views is for people with those other views to be within their social group. To be fair, disapproving of his performance and regretting voting for him are two different things. I know a number of people who voted for him who are very unhappy with what he has done so far. They aren’t to the point of regretting their votes, but they may if he doesn’t improve, and keeps breaking his promises.
If anything I would say as a whole the country is pretty fickle and forgetful. They can go from anti-Trump to Christie to Sanders and then to Trump in less than a month.
