President Trump has done nothing but heap appreciation and praise on our service men and women. You think he’s gonna turn aruond and leave them in the dust and just make their lives miserable? From what I heard during the campaign and now, is he wants to make veteran’s lives better contrary to the malarcky posted here.
Am I to understand that the left is finally paying attention to the concerns of our military?

They do realize how uncool that is supposed to be, right?

I mean really, Trump wants to pollute our air and water, wants to deny entry to all Muslims, wants to deny and even jack up post birth costs, whew, now he wants to starve the veterans. This is a busy guy! Wonder what’s next from the Twilight Zone?
Right! Because New Mexico, Flint, Dakota Access all happened under his watch…

=Michael Mayo;14546308]It is all a matter of priorities. Did Obama and Hillary want to kill babies? of course you would think so. But in reality it came to the choice of a women to choose over the right to life. Where it comes to the budget, we can see our president’s priorities. The environment and the poor are not high on the list. Rather, what is good for business. The old thought is that once business thrives, the economy thrives and there are fewer poor people:rolleyes:.
Well, there were many people who didn’t really want slavery, but shucks, just couldn’t bring themselves to make it illegal what with polite society to cater to and all. And they did need the labour, right?
I think evidence has been in that trickle down doesn’t work. But no matter how you cut it the environment loses.
The 20s and 80s…and reality would disagree.

They already admitted Trump didn’t mean wiretapping when he literally

Spicer:
The President used the word “wiretap” in quotes to mean, broadly, surveillance and other activities.
I don’t think anyone had ever invoke the older sense of the word since so few communication devices are on wireline. The “clarification” that Obama didn’t physically enter Trump tower himself and physically cut into a wire to use a listening circuit to phone lines only addresses what I think to be an uncommon and unlikely interpretation of the statement.

In modern times “wiretap” is used as a general word for surveillance. If a warrant is issued to monitor calls since communication networks today are digitally switched all that is necessary is for the communications company to save the packets.

Instead of making a statement about what isn’t the intended interpretation of his statement all ambiguity could be done away with given a clear statement on what is the correct interpretation. Sans such clarification the the perspective that he never had credible information to support his statement will probably persist. It also may help if instead of taking to twitter with allegations that he get the intelligence communities involved in an investigation and then present the resulting report if his concern is found to be supported by evidence.

Anyone remotely interested in learning some actual stuff … should visit Amazon books and look up the book “GCHQ” by Richard Aldrich.

In addition scroll down on that Amazon page and view 20 other related books.

AND, visit www.eyespymag.com and buy the back issues. Highly detailed information on what is and has been going on.

… but that’s only if anyone really wants to know what has been going on. Instead of finger pointing.

What campaign promises has Trump broken?
The biggest one of current concern is his promise that his health care plan would cover everyone, and be cheaper. The administration is now admitting they will not do that. In fact, under his plan millions will lose coverage, and most people will pay more for what they have.

He also promised not to cut social programs, and is endorsing a massive cut to Medicaid.

He promised to fix the nation’s infrastructure, but his budget actually cuts infrastructure spending.

There are dozens of other things that I am sure he would say he will eventually get around to, although he promised to do them “first day” - such as term limits, renegotiating NAFTA, and so on.

Your know that the trickle down effect had problems in the 20s which led to the Great Depression?

In the 80s that same ideology led to a massive debt to the nation. Plus Bush father paid for it in 1992.

So your trickle down effect is absurd.

He needs to tweet and speak more carefully. (No kidding. :doh2:) He is a very poor communicator if he doesn’t mean what he says. How are we supposed to know what he means?
Say what you mean.
Mean what you say.
Don’t say it mean.

Good advice for all of us.

And I would suggest he also stop his Donald Trump twitter feed and use the Official POTUS one.

And not tweet anything that has nothing to do with the US presidency, like Arnold Schwarzenegger, the apprentice ratings, Nordstroms, Snoop Dog, Alec Baldwin and other things that give the impression that he is thin skinned and concerned with trivial things.

And maybe, not even run the POTUS tweets himself. Have someone run it.

He is our President and we didn’t want another run of the mill politician to go yet again, against the people. I’m glad he uses twitter and the fact he is not a politician therefore, not beholden to what you think he should do.

I love his twiiter account. It gets all your feathers ruffled and that’s fine with me! You deserve it!
I find many of his tweets cringe worthy because he comes across as thin skinned and concerned with things that have nothing to do with his job.

Him not tweeting would be good for him. He would appear to be more presidential.

If he wants his approval ratings to continue to plummet, he should keep the twitter, and just keep tweeting.

He could throw in some more conspiracy theories too.

I’m really sure that will #MAGA.

This weekend, his approval ratings were at about 37%.

More presidential according to you? Maybe he should lose some weight and start playing more basketball and golf. Would that be presidential enough? I’m sorry he can’t change his race.

Twitter is, according to President Trump, “like owning the New York Times without the loss.” In desperate times faced with an enemy media, one needs something like that.

Well, he definitely should lose weight.

As to the race thing…weird implication, man.

The Catholic charity, love, and utmost respect for fellow posters, each and every one of whom was bought by the precious blood of Our Lord, just blows me away on this forum…

So this was definitively proved to be a complete lie at the intel hearing today.

“Military operation” is just an adjective that doesn’t actually mean use of the military… remember that one? 🤷

Would that go for the Trump haters or just us supporters?

Good points. To which you are unlikely to get a response.
