Yup, anyone who was recorded telling an off color joke is a racist, you’ve got proof!!!Like I said, my definition of racism includes people with decades of publicly documented racism.

You’ll find stinkcat completely ignores the multiplier effect from money being spent in a local economy,The things which that dollar purchase stay in that foreign country.
What multiplier effect? You’ll find stinkcat completely ignores the multiplier effect from money being spent in a local economy,
Are you playing thick, I thought you were trained in econ? What multiplier effect?
What about leakages? Are you playing thick, I thought you were trained in econ?
Answer my question. Anyone with Freshman econ should know these terms. What about leakages?
So the question is, is there a multiplier effect with leakages?Answer my question. Anyone with Freshman econ should know these terms.
And since I didn’t use the term “leakage” here, why did you ask unless you already knew the connection
Are you doing a grant application? So the question is, is there a multiplier effect with leakages?
I think you better link to this study, because you are not making much sense.I think this area has been studied. I’ve seen analysis on how foreign tourism is considered a local leakage (a negative for the home community) as well as how the spend in the foreign community does have a multiplier effect on their economy.
Naw, it’s off topic and you are feigning a discussion.I think you better link to this study, because you are not making much sense.
No it isn’t. A lot of times, it’s funny.Racist “humor” is racism.
People, especially rich people and corporations, are in court all of the time and one of the reasons are frivilous lawsuits.Of the three of us, Luigi, Trump, and Paul, which one has been sued by the government for refusing to rent to black people?
it might give those left behind a better chance in life. I remember when I used to work in HIB and HIA visas. Most of them came from the Philippines. And it wasn’t as if there were no health workers left in the Philippines when I got some of them in here. There were plenty, including a lot who couldn’t get jobs until the then-holders of the jobs moved on. It was amazing how many health people that country was generating, and how poor their prospects were when they graduated and/or finished their residencies. If we steal tens of thousands of “the best” from a country that is already suffering, how does that help the tens of millions left behind?
The Philippines trains people for export, it’s a product. While I think it’s great for the Philippines, it takes the pressure off in the US. The job market here needs a shortage to create strong incentive for students to go through the required education.it might give those left behind a better chance in life. Mighty good product too, from what I could see of their performance. The Philippines trains people for export, it’s a product
One would think that the US has come further in dealing with the guilt and shame of slavery, but most American histories ignore it, or pass over it.And they ignored it. And Germany was scarred for at least two generations because of it.
The error is assuming that persons from those countries cannot or will not meet the immigration criteria because of the conditions in their country. I agree that they have less opportunities but ruling them out because they want to escape those conditions is not, in itself, problematic. His reference was to the conditions of those countries, not to race. You know that. Do you really intend to say that if we say Haiti is a terrible place, we’re saying it because most of them are black? Do you really?
This does not make sense, unless you start from the assumption that the culture of Norway is more foundational to US culture than any other national culture. is “ourselves” extracted from Norway?Yeah, we need folks from places like Norway for a while. We’re losing our culture piece by piece. It’s time to stop catering to people outside of our nation and tend to ourselves for a while.
This is the basic rub, is it not? Who is “our country too”? It seems that most Republicans felt disenfranchised by Democrats being in power the past 8 years. but this type of construction reflects ‘us" and “them”. So, who is "us’ and who is “them”?Enough is enough. It’s our country too, and we want what makes it great for our children, friends and loved ones as well as other people.
It helps to make sense of it when you realize the people who say this aren’t talking about U.S. culture but “white” culture. They just don’t want black people to emigrate here. This does not make sense, unless you start from the assumption that the culture of Norway is more foundational to US culture than any other national culture. is “ourselves” extracted from Norway?
