No I don’t. I didn’t hear it myself. Tone is everything. The question here is common decency instead of petulance. You know which one Trump chose.

He knows a little bit more about Lewis than he does Fredrick Douglas. He doesn’t know anything about Lewis’ legacy?
To a Democrat, Lewis would have been an unalloyed saint because of his civil rights record. Repubs can respect him for that too. But Dems would ignore the fact that he also supported killing live infants already born and shoving sharp instruments into babies’ skulls to kill them while they’re being born. They would ignore it because they support those odious practices too.Trump’s willingness to hold a grudge against what he perceives as personal slights — even against those who have passed away, such as Sen. John McCain — has been a hallmark of his public image for decades, though as president, it’s remarkable that he would not praise Lewis, who at the time of his passing last month was widely recognized as a hero of the Civil Rights Movement.
Did he say he does not support renaming the bridge? @Nepperhan7_Sorrows:![]()
I don’t support watermelon seed spitting contests yet I don’t oppose them. The concept is pretty clear. You say he won’t support it. Why not? Yet you also say he won’t oppose it.
This makes no sense.
I cannot speculate on why Trump would not support renaming the bridge.

Did I say he did? I think I have thoroughly answered your question.Did he say he does not support renaming the bridge?
When you asked why I thought Trump would not support renaming, I replied: “I cannot speculate on why Trump would not support renaming the bridge.” Now, that does NOT mean I think Trump would not support the mentioned renaming. You just stated in a post you cannot speculate on why Trump would not support
renaming the bridge.
Vermin??? Did you come up with that yourself, or did you get it from Democrat politicians or media? Maybe it’s another way of saying “bitter clingers” or “irredeemables” or “smelly Walmart shoppers”.vermin,
Possibly you have heard it. I haven’t, and certainly I have not heard a Repub candidate for president call all Democrats “vermin” or anything like that. Possibly you can give us a reputable source showing that they did.But they certainly call Democrats that and worse.
Republicans might not be as sensitive to your concerns as you would prefer, but I have never heard a Republican call black people “vermin”.
Does Pittman ring a bell?Republicans might not be as sensitive to your concerns as you would prefer, but I have never heard a Republican call black people “vermin”.
This is identity politics, what if someone was writing “I as a white person…”, “I as a Hispanic…”??As a black person, I will thank you not to make assumptions about what black people do not understand. We understand that the Republican party as it is currently constructed is against civil rights, is against voting rights, and is against progress for black people. Unless and until the Republican party rids itself of these types of . . . people. . . , we will continue to hold our nose and vote for the lesser of two evils!
Further, assuming what we “don’t recognize” is exceptionally condescending and does nothing to attract black people to your point-of-view!
What about calling ‘nevertrumpers’ “Human scum”? Is that harsh enough for you? Or calling attorneys “Angry Democrat Thugs”?Possibly you have heard it. I haven’t, and certainly I have not heard a Repub candidate for president call all Democrats “vermin” or anything like that. Possibly you can give us a reputable source showing that they did.
