And yet the Progressive Echo Chamber is where the idea that Clinton is too strong to beat or that Trump can’t win resonates from. If you don’t want to live in it, just come out and breathe the free air. You heart and mind will thank you.
I do breathe the free air, my friend! I promise. 👍

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

That last line is a whopper!
Do you really think your fellows are going to elect a “congenital liar” to be our next President? We’re not, of course.

And I am thankful that Washington, DC is populated with people who know that Hillary isn’t dishonest. I believe that after she is elected, the Congress and Senate (whatever the partisan make-up may be) will work well with her to govern out country with strength and moderation.

Even if she was the honest politician you claim she is, she is still has unhealthy obsession with abortion. She gets cheered for talking about abortion at her rallies. Abortion is nothing to cheer about. You cannot be for life and for Clinton.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not suggesting Trump is the answer. In my opinion, I can’t vote for her and I won’t vote for him. 3rd party…

Read “Clinton Cash” … she actively accepted payola … how could someone on a government salary end up with a net worth of $300,000,000 … three hundred million dollars …

At least Al Gore created a television network … that he sold to al Jezeera.

What has Hillary created?

But, she has the billion dollars or so in the Clinton Foundation plus her own net worth.

“Normal” people don’t have that kind of money … she sold her office and lied about it.

She used an elaborately constructed private server to conceal her illegal actions. And lied about it.

Read up on “Uranium One” … how she permitted Russia to buy a huge share of American uranium.

Read up on “The Clintons’ War on Women”.

And then what?

Most people don’t know that it isn’t the Second Amendment that gives one the right to protect himself.

I worry more about the erosion of the 10th Amendment.
The Tenth Amendment … primacy of the individual states … was toast many years ago.

Trump ALWAYS talks about the basic issues:

Back to the Basic issues:

Keep visualizing the porous border, no more NRA. and much higher taxes.

Trump continuously goes back to the basic issues:
  1. Supreme Court Justices … left wing appointees would permanently tilt the United States to the left.
  2. Southern Border is porous … right now there is no one stopping the flood of undocumented people AND HEROIN entering the United States. Hillary believes in open borders. Her good friend and supporter, George Soros is a firm supporter of open borders. Trump has been endorsed by Border Patrol and ICE. Immigration and Customs Enforcement
  3. The U. S. tax structure is the worst in the developed world.
  4. Veterans are getting terrible treatment from the Veterans Administration. Trump has a many years record and reputation of actively supporting veterans.
  5. U.S. Foreign Policy is a disaster. [Most recent example: [-]$400/-] $1200+ MILLION in CASH flown to Iran under conditions of secrecy. If it was legitimate, they would do an electronic transfer. And that’s just the latest.]
  6. Radical Islamic Terrorism is uncontested.
  7. Second Amendment. Gun control only controls law abiding citizens. Inner city crime and gang crime and black-on-black crime is/are epidemic. Getting worse and worse.
  8. The economy. Record numbers of people on food stamps. People forced into part-time work owing to restrictions by government controlled medical legislation. Make participation in government controlled medical to be optional: if you can find a better and/or cheaper plan then take it.
  9. Restrictions on religion. Freedom of Worship instead of freedom of religion. Mandatory Islam lessons in schools [as now in places] [Example: Why should the Little Sisters of the Poor be forced to purchase contraception?] [Example: Why should someone who posted dissection of aborted babies be prosecuted? Remember David Daleiden.] … read p37 0f the DNC platform.
demconvention.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Democratic-Party-Platform-7.21.16-no-lines.pdf
  1. Education: The United States ranks around 27th in math. WHY??? Education SHOULD be controlled by states and communities … there should be NO Federal control over education. Trump encourages inner city charter schools. Especially for African American students to improve their educational results.
  2. U.S. Military is not being kept up to date. Navy is behind in technology and numbers and readiness. Aircraft are kept going using parts from the boneyard instead of buying new stuff. Troops are not training enough. Focus is on social changes instead of on training.
  3. Continued inner city collapse. In 1965, 24 percent of black infants were born to single mothers. In 2013, 72 percent of black infants were born to single mothers. Source: page 157, “Con Job” by Crystal Wright. “Con Job – How Democrats Gave Us Crime, Sanctuary Cities, Abortion Profiteering, and Racial Division”. Crystal Wright’s Web site is www.conservativeblackchick.com
Chicago is only one example of inner city murder skyrocketing.

The people who vote for Clinton, but do so only because they believe Trump is somehow worse are IMO wrong, but likely being honest. Misguided, but honest.

The people who claim Hillary isn’t dishonest or corrupt, however, are not being serious. Comments like that are meant to enflame posters and be provocative. Best to say a quick prayer and not even engage them. They aren’t serious, despite assurances of sincerity.

What has Hillary created? [She promised hundreds of thousands of jobs for upstate New York. Failure. Yet, in Pennsylvania, the development of natural gas DID provide many thousands of jobs.]

I guess I really don’t understand the anger at the establishment. I kind of assumed I was always part of the so-called conservative establishment. It certainly wasn’t the Democrat establishment that passed any pro-life legislation. I’m sorry, but I feel like the people throwing haymakers at the republican establishment are a little confused about who their friends are.
I’m a natural born cynic, sadly. I think it’s true of most politicians that they are handed a flag (party platform) to march with and they live and die by what that flag is made to represent. Whether they believe what the flag represents or not, they carry it to the death. Can you imagine Hillary Clinton working in a soup kitchen on alternate Saturdays? Can you imagine Trump inviting some out of work coal miners over to the house for a night of poker and a few beers? No, of course not. Nor can you imagine any of the party brass in either group.

The reason for the haymakers at the Republican establishment, for me, is that they have been singularly unable to field an electable candidate for 3 election cycles. None of them is electable or charismatic. For a “conservative” to win he must be charismatic, likable, able to capture people’s higher values and emotions. (Clinton is unlikable and certainly not charismatic but she’s got the goodie bag and her constituency wants goodies.) Do you find any of the Trump alternatives presented during the primary season to be a possessor or any of the charisma to move the hearts and souls of the common man? A Kennedy, a Churchill? I didn’t find that and now we have a detestable egomaniac trying to sway people away from the goodie bag. It will never happen and that is the fault of the RNC. It makes me pretty angry because I have little grandchildren who will have to live in the mess the Dems have created and will foster.

Thanks for the thoughtful response. I’m a millennial in the beginning phases of child-rearing, so I’m in the same boat with concern for the future generation. (It’s why I’m considering home-school when I never dreamt of that possibility. Or going somewhere else.)

I honestly think part of the Republican party’s problem is a growing split between fiscal and social conservatives. A lot of Republicans are more socially aligned with Liberals when it comes to the social values that really matter. If that’s the case, then those people really are in the back pockets of liberalism. In fact, I argue that both our current Democratic and Republican parties are fundamentally flawed because our country never flew by the flag of an authentic, sacramental worldview. Our country was born out of a Christianity subtly estranged from that.

And yet I’m still voting Trump, especially in light of this latest email leak. Argh.

My phone is about to die.

Trump employs more than 20,000 people.

Probably knows many of them by their first names.

and you don’t feel your 3rd party vote will help Hillary win in the end?
if you are really for life, shouldn’t you put your vote towards someone who actually has a chance of beating her? what good is a 3rd party vote?

With Electoral College Strategy, there is a chance of winning especially when there is such division like this.

Not very likely that anyone other than Hillary will win.
You never know. A third party candidate that best represents the views of Catholics and other God loving people could be the real trump of the nation if people had the courage to vote for the candidate that best represented their views.

The problem is you presume that candidate does represent our views. We are a country of lazy, greedy, sexualized, immoral, hateful people it seems. So while I’d love to think we could do better, I am not sure.

I saw a recent poll that showed government corruption was the number issue for the folks in the poll. If that is true, why is Hillary Clinton of all people running and leading? We often vote against what we say is important, which is why I had little sympathy for the unemployed voters who voted for Obama in 2012. You get what you deserve.

Well I know that he does not ask God for forgiveness. “If I do something wrong, I just try to make it right. I don’t bring God into that picture” he said. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...29302D1ACDCAFCD8893729302&fsscr=0&FORM=VDFSRV

And Trump is putting himself and his family through worse than Hell… for what? Because he sees what has happened to our country and he thinks he can fix it…

God Bless the sinner who tries to help.
