Not to mention that MOST citizens in this nation wanted marriage equality.
That’s what the liberal Media will have you believe. If that was the case they wouldn’t have taken the case to the Supreme Court. If you recall, Gay Marriage was up for a vote in CALIFORNIA where it lost. Thus they took it to the courts where they could find activist judges in order to force it through and impose it on the land. The constitution would have left the issue to the states and in the hands of the citizens.

Our nation elected a Democrat President twice and not by small margins. We’re about to elect another Democrat as President and not by a small margins.
The biased media propaganda was key in electing Mr. Obama, along with voter fraud…

People are tired of well rehearsed polished career politicians, so prim and proper with their public face who promise and lie with a courteous smile, yet in Washington they are spineless two-faced and ineffective representatives of the people, especially when it comes to things like pro-life issues.

Just take a look at all the “conservative” Republicans who are apparently are such delicate goody-two-shoe self-righteous hypocrites who will allow Hillary Clinton to fill the Supreme Court with agenda-driven individuals forcing pro-abortion, pro late-term abortion, anti-Family, anti-Home Schooling, anti-Christ legislation upon the citizens of this land. Instead of standing up and saying "Donald Trump is not perfect, but he’s the only thing standing between the militant left and our institutions.

It makes me sick when I think of Catholics who apparently are so holy that they will sit out a critical election because the candidate is a sinner. Constantine and Charlemagne were certainly no saints yet they were instruments which saved the Church from fierce persecution.

👍

If every conservative who is not voting for Trump would have all of their sins publicly exposed they would be nothing more than the worst hypocrites, much like the religious pharisees whom Christ excoriated and exposed. Repeat after me:

“I confess to Almighty God, and to you my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned through my own fault, in my thoughts, in my words, in what I have done and what I have failed to do…”

Yes, we wish a perfectly good man was the choice against the militant leftist Hillary Clinton in this election, but all we have is Mr. Trump. At least, for the sake of the Supreme Court, vote against Hillary Clinton by voting for Mr. Trump.

The American voters wanted a non-politician … and they got him … Donald Trump.

Establishment politicians are totally p*ssed off because he is not one of theirs.

Their previous selections, Romney, McCain, Dole and etc were complete flops.

But the establishment politicians were perfectly happy with those.

They do not want to win.

The establishment politicians were also unhappy with Reagan and maligned him at every opportunity.

Years after he died, they found a box of papers in his attic … drafts of the various essays he wrote. They were shocked. He did his own work.

Who knew.

The establishment politicians merely want their cozy relationships and legal clients for their lobby firms.

They are, for example, fearful that Trump may actually turn education back over to the states and localities and actually foster charter schools.
The Federal entity has gotten completely out of hand. Yes, all the powers not enumerated to the Federal government should be returned to the individual states. Ummmm, Federalism, what a novel concept.

I don’t understand why social conservatives think they should get everything they want when the majority of the nation’s citizens want something else.
They think they are in the right. And I agree with them. 60 years ago, the vast majority of Americans were against racial desegregation.

Um, so you’re saying the vast majority of Americans disagree with conservatives, but they think they’re right and you agree with them. Just as conservatives 60 years ago were opposed to desegregation?

Are you implying segregation was good?:eek:

God’s power is not limited by whom our corrupt government puts into office. It is we who voluntarily choose to limit God’s power by choosing to put our trust in man rather than in God. Donald Trump cannot save us.

It id the duty of a citizen to vote, especially when critical issues are at stake. Yes, Trump cannot save your soul, only Jesus Christ can do that; but Trump can certainly save you, your family and your grandchildren from the effects of a leftist, agenda-driven Supreme Court that would be happy to take away religious freedom rights, home schooling rights, etc. You see, God gave you an intellect to use and to act upon, and not to simply use to sit in judgment of sinners. Try living in a country where you have no rights, and then you will understand the importance of having a Supreme Court that follows the U.S. Constitution and not political agenda-driven activism, which is what we will get if HClinton wins.

No. You were implying that the minority should always give way to the majority on social issues. I brought up desegregation as a counterexample. The minority were right, and the majority were wrong.

Trump is leading in many polls against Hillary Clinton, so what you say is false.
Well he must be running scared because the Donald Trump for President fb has sent a recent post, a warning in large bold red letters, " ! WARNING! NEVER AGAIN IN YOUR LIFE WILL YOU GET A CHANCE TO VOTE FOR SOMEONE WHO IS NOT CONTROLLED BY THE GOVERNMENT! then in black bold letters * VOTE TRUMP *. When you think about it, that is scary any way you look at it- vote for Hillary and be controlled by government. vote for Trump a loose canon. I choose to trust in God and vote according to my conscience.

Polls fluctuate from day to day, and in most Trump and Clinton are tied within the margin of error. As for voting your conscience, what is this based on? The personal sins of people or the philosophical agenda of the politician? Trump a loose cannon? How about all the hundreds of thousands of deaths caused by the loose cannons who took this country to war based on the lie of Weapons of Mass Destruction?

Securing the border, lowering taxes, appointing Supreme Court Justices like Antonin Scalia, and not jumping into war are all things Trump is running on.

I will exercise my duty to vote, but not for Clinton nor Trump. I am using my intellect and the wisdom that God has given me and the courage to act upon that wisdom to decide whom I will vote for. I am afraid that infiltration of radical communist ideas has already reached the highest levels. We have passed the point in which we could trust in our political leaders to bring us back. It is time to wake up or perish.

Just stay home then and don’t waste your time feeling good about yourself by voting for someone who has zero chance of winning. I would suggest you vote against your pride by humbling yourself to vote for a sinner who happens to have good designs for this country, namely the Supreme Court. Of course, when Hillary Clinton gets in and transforms the Supreme Court and begins taking away your religious rights, and the rights that parents have over their children, then you will realize that wasting your vote was foolish indeed…

I’m sorry but this is simply untrue. I understand that more than a handful of folks want Mr. Trump to lead the most powerful nation in the world, but not once during the entire GE have the polls, taken together, indicated that this would happen.

And today, he is further down in the polls than he has ever been.

I guess I really don’t understand the anger at the establishment. I kind of assumed I was always part of the so-called conservative establishment. It certainly wasn’t the Democrat establishment that passed any pro-life legislation. I’m sorry, but I feel like the people throwing haymakers at the republican establishment are a little confused about who their friends are.
The problem is that the conservatives are the base of the Republican Party but not the ones who call the shots … grass roots and because conservatives have been elected - we do get some pro-Life legislation - but little else …

We are like the minority vote for the Democrats - they get some new or expanded government program but no real change … and the Party can depend on their votes to carry them to victory …

Both parties play to their base - but only so far

So while you were part of the Conservatives - yu were never part of the Establishment …

We fare better than the Base of the Democratic Party - they never shake anything up … Reagan was not an establishment pick and neither was Trump … though Trump is harder for them to swallow …

Also the Democrats will hold together better than the Republicans - we tend to 'eat our own" , We have met the enemy and it is us …
