LOL Trump promises to stop eating Oreos? I doubt it. I say we should get a warrant to search his home(s).Well maybe he doesn’t care if Mexico descends into depression and total chaos since he’s not eating Oreos anyway.

Do you feel the same way about children whose parents are put into jail and they (the children) are put into foster care?Okay but I personally don’t believe the Christian thing to do is to break up families or uproot children from the only home they’ve ever known. But that’s just me.
Citizenship is a reward. For that matter, just allowing them to legally stay here is a reward. It sounds like what you want to do is reward them without calling it a reward, because people instinctively know that rewarding bad behavior is wrong. In reality, they already have a “pathway to citizenship”, it’s called following the law. They choose not to and you think that merits them special treatment for ignoring US immigration law. If some homeless person broke into your house and started squatting in your living room, would you offer him a pathway to citizenship in your home, or are you only generous with other people’s money?I think Obama and the Catholic bishops got the Christian thing about right when they called for not rewarding them but still a pathway to eventual citizenship.

I’ve no idea of the numbers but I don’t think someone being in jail for murder is the same as being an immigrant.Do you feel the same way about children whose parents are put into jail and they (the children) are put into foster care?
I’m not sure either is right, but we currently do it where the parents are citizens.
Nice attempt at a strawman, but murder is far from the only crime people go to jail for. How about, say, white collar crimes? Wasn’t horrible the way Martha Stewart was torn away from the only family she ever knew? Or Scooter Libby? The crimes they went to jail for, “lying to a federal agent”, is a crime that anybody who has ever been interviewed by federal agents for any reason could be convicted of.I’ve no idea of the numbers but I don’t think someone being in jail for murder is the same as being an immigrant.
I was thinking more of people who drove someone who had pot in their backpack and didn’t know it. Or people who smoked pot. Or people who jaywalked. Or any number of other things that are on the level of being an immigrant.I’ve no idea of the numbers but I don’t think someone being in jail for murder is the same as being an immigrant.
Again I do think the numbers affected matter and the crime. And I’m not about to go over every possible crime in comparison. But regarding the ones you mentioned, it would keep families intact and parents with their children and would free up our police resources to deal with more serious crimes, in addition to saving the taxpayers a bundle. And conservatives do love that I know.I was thinking more of people who drove someone who had pot in their backpack and didn’t know it. Or people who smoked pot. Or people who jaywalked. I’m just saying that if the only reason people should not be deported is because their citizen children will be seperated from their parents, we should apply that rationale to putting people in jail, especially for things less than murder or other violent crimes.
Never talk to a federal agent without your lawyer present, may want to make an electronic copy of the conversation.Nice attempt at a strawman, but murder is far from the only crime people go to jail for. Exactly. And he will do this again. If he does I will definitely consider voting for him. But he may have other issues with his base. That Time Donald Trump Had A Meeting With DREAMers And Said “You Convinced Me” On Immigration

I wouldn’t know until I was in the voting booth who I would pull the lever for, well, nowadays we don’t really have polling boths and levers but my first choices would be Christie, Walker, Cruz, Rubio, Perry. I still like Carly but I don’t feel solid with her. I like Ben Carson but would like to see more from him first as well. That Time Donald Trump Had A Meeting With DREAMers And Said “You Convinced Me” On Immigration
