Seems it was Joshua Lord who instigated this stereotyping. His troll like comment re his uneducated Republican relatives is the most gross type of stereotyping. Sadly,he isn’t the only liberal I’ve heard spew these comments. Liberals are elitist. One stereotype that has been proven time and again.
My original comment was directed to Joshua is Lord as you point out. His post reminds me of Obama’s comment about people clinging to their guns and religion. I should not have painted liberals with such a broad brush, but his post echos those of many liberal commentators on NPR’s fb page, which I frequent.

I try not to talk politics in social gatherings like choir or neighborhood gatherings. But the liberals keep bringing it up.
It is just the opposite here. The conservatives keep bringing it up ( Red State )

We as a family came to an agreement at family gatherings, we don’t talk politics or religion.

Me and wife are Educated( Higher Learning ( she AA, me BS ), Catholic, and Democrat.

My family that we get together with are non-Educated, Protestant( Church of God( brother is a Bishop( and no, Bishops don’t need a college degree))), and Republican.

They got tired of being chewed up and spit out on every argument whether it was Political or Religious.
So I offered them a deal. Keep your mouth shut about Politics and Religion and we can all get along or you can suffer our verbal wrath and logic.
It has been smooth sailing since 2005. Get togethers are quite nice.
that is a typical liberal answer to a problem - bully everyone to shut up.
liberals aren 't as smart as they think. their shaming, bullying, self righteousness,
disdain for those who don’t agree with them actually works against them.

Is that your experience?
Do you think that others share it to the point that it can be called typical?
Especially given that the poster talked a particular situation in his own his family.

that is most definitely my experience. i see it displayed in left wng media, late night television, CNN, MSNBC, Joy Behar, Stephen Colbert, Joe and Mika, Michelle and Barack and Hillary and I could go on and on.

By George F. Will

Donald Trump, with his feral cunning, knew. The oleaginous Mike Pence, with his talent for toadyism and appetite for obsequiousness, could, Trump knew, become America’s most repulsive public figure. And Pence, who has reached this pinnacle by dethroning his benefactor, is augmenting the public stock of useful knowledge. Because his is the authentic voice of today’s lickspittle Republican Party, he clarifies this year’s elections: Vote Republican to ratify groveling as governing.
This guy thinks big words make him sound intelligent.

Instead, he sounds slightly deranged, like one of those fire-and-brimstone preachers with spittle flying everywhere.

Your own words.

Given that Joshua is Lord was using his family as an example of liberal vs conservatives.

that is your usual response when you are caught by your own words.
Yes I gather that your aim, for whatever reason, is to “catch” me. I just don’t see the trap.

I hope that @Ender or some other kind soul may happen by and explain what you mean if you are not willing.

Thanks for the mind reading.
Didn’t need to read his mind; only his words. The following, I think you would agree, is redundant. The only purpose in accusing Pence of both 'toadyism" and “obsequiousness” in the same sentence would be to utter the words. But they mean essentially the same thing.
talent for toadyism and appetite for obsequiousness

Reading his words allows you to note the words that he uses. Conjecturing why he uses the word she does, in particular dismissing the use as his " … think[ing] big words make him sound intelligent …" that requires mind reading.

You’re gonna strain your arms if you reach any harder.
