Maybe George Will can’t meet the same standards of decency as Vice President Pence. and he is bothered by that.
Perhaps. But he easily meets and exceeds the standards of decency set by President Trump.

Why was Trump the last man standing ?
It is a great question. Why do you think that Republican primary voters selected this man?
What does that tell you?
Why do you think Hillary lost and what does that tell you?

Why do you think Hillary lost and what does that tell you?
The election was so close that one could list many, many individual things that might have flipped the result. So perhaps a better question is why was it so close?

I think that there are two reasons. First, the rust belt remnant, and perhaps much of the white blue collar workers and their dependents felt not only left behind but no longer on the radar of establishment Washington. Second, I think that she had an unusually passionate opposition cultivated, I think, by decades of targeted fake news and political trophy hunting and amplified by garden variety misogyny.

I still wonder how good Republicans chose a man of such poor character as Trump. It is an ongoing puzzle why these pecadillos are overlooked or even defended.
I still wonder how progressives so quickly became the party of ad hominem,

how you switched all your focus away from policy,
to making private matters of paramount importance.

Progressives? George Will? … 🤣
Since this is your begged question, I suppose it happened when you begged it.

The election was very close. Trump got more of the black and Hispanic votes than did Romney, and more of the vote of Catholics. It’s possible the old “Democratic coalition” is breaking down because it no longer benefits those in the coalition.

Liberals celebrate abortion and sexual perversion, including the corruption of the young, then pretend to be puritans when it comes to words spoken in private by Trump.
Was this post, as seemed obvious from the context, meant to includet @F_Marurana or not?
Who else did you mean to include?

It was close, and a bit here or there could have made the difference. But the support for the conjecture about the coalition is poor. Trump did a bit better than Romney among minorities but he did a little worse than McCain and much worse than GW Bush.

what is your purpose spending hours everyday looking for the most negative articles to post about President Trump and his administration? and then following each negative thread about our president and his administration and knocking down anything good someone might have to say about our president.
i agree there are 3-4 others who join you in their mean spiritness, hate and glee to
smear either our president, his family or administration on a daily basis.
you must have a lot of free time scouring the internet hourly, daily looking for the most
damaging articles you can find.
just wondering what you and others get out of it.
you overlook all the good President Trump has done and has planned ahead.
I have saved this off for future use when a Dem is in office and the other side is doing what is being claimed here.

You can save it however I can tell you with certainty nothing the conservative may post will rise to the same level of relentless nit picking and carping about Trump.Actually since you apparently have a lot of time on your hand why not go through all the comments of the past eight years of Obama? Nothing like
What we see her daily re President Trump

Nothing like

Trump’s own behavior and words are the blame for that. And given I was not here during the Obama years…mute and moot point.

Gee what’s PresidentvTrump done or said in the last year or so? Seems the focus is on actions and words from a decade or more. Meanwhile,in spite of the nasty assults against him he’s getting a lot done, which of course is the REAL reason for the relentless jabs towards him.

Trump 3000 lies in 466 days World News
The Washington Post’s Fact-Checker blog has been keeping a strict count of President Donald Trump’s many misstatements, untruths and outright lies. And, over the weekend at a rally in Michigan, Trump hit a(nother) milestone: He topped 3,000 untrue or misleading statements in 466 days in office. That means that, on average, Trump says 6.5 things that aren’t true a day. Every. Single. Day. (Trump is actually picking up the pace when it comes to not telling the truth; he has averaged nine untru…
for starters.

Oh my!😱 kick him out now,no embellishing the facts ever, only Obama is allowed to do that with impunity.Got it!

Better is still better. And in a close race, sometimes all it takes is better.

You didn’t mention the vote among Catholics. It was 52% for Trump notwithstanding his receiving only 29% of the Hispanic vote. Among Catholics, 60% of white Catholics voted for Trump versus 26% of Latino Catholics.

That is odd, suggesting perhaps that more recent arrivals among Hispanics are more likely Dem voters, as many Hispanics go protestant after they have been here awhile. The open borders folks are creating a lot of protestants with their policies, including in the immigrants’ home countries. a 3% difference isn’t enormous, but it might have meaning.

But regardless, the old “Democrat coalition” seems to be losing Catholics, and rightly so.

be my guest! as Jeanne S stated, the conservatives will no doubt have complaints when the next democrat is elected, but it will never reach the level of viciousness the
liberals have used against President Trump. this has been unprecedented and never witnessed before in the history of our country. despite that, President Trump is getting things done which is only making them angrier!

i notice the liberals are always blameless. it is always someone else’s fault for an excuse for them to use bad behavior!

Nevertheless, it summarized her attitude … all the things that made her undesirable as a candidate.
Opposition to racism sexism, homophobia, Islamophobia, and empathy with those left behind in the new economy and only too slowly enjoying the recovery from the recession. That may have made her undesirable to you - and surely to racists, sexists, homophobes, and Islamophobes . But evidently not to 63 million other Americans.
Or those she labelled as such.
