This is a set up. Assad is not stupid and in real life is a responsible leader who the Syrians who are not cutting checks from the CIA, respect and wants to remain in power. He would NEVER use chemical weapons against his people. CIA and Mossad already tried this in Damascus and it went back to them. I guess they thought to give it a second time in an attempt to get some leverage and unfortunately Trump who is behind Israel and all is going for it. So sad for the Syrian people to stand by and watch their country be destroy.

It matters that they’re a citizen because a nation’s government exists expressly for the purpose of governing and protecting it’s own people from both within and without. This makes murdering your own citizens an even more heinous act than murdering non-citizens. PLEASE, do not think I am downplaying the murder of non-citizens, both actions are terrible and should never occur, but there is a special evil in murdering your own citizens, whom you are charged with protecting… It’s sort of like a mother murdering her child, there’s just something especially… evil… about it.

I truly don’t understand how the state is different from the mafias protection racket. Both come to a man and say we’ll protect your from these bad guys in another territory. You say you don’t want that protection. They then do the very same things to you the bad guys would do since you won’t pay for their protection. They rough you up and steal your property. And if you resist too hard you’ll wind up dead. So try not paying your taxes and see how the government, any government, treats you.

Turkey and Israel have both attacked and invaded, whether by land or air, a sovereign nation in an attempt to overthrow it. Trump is a war criminal. I wish harm to no fellow man, but he cannot think he can play with “rebel” fire an escape. If not him, our descendants will pay for his brutality and stupidity, just as the Serbs payed dearly for supporting the Muslim overthrow of Constantinople. What goes around comes around.

Almost the entire history of US war making is based on lies. Yet they keep getting away with it. This is why I have no confidence in democracy. It’s not that under different forms of government people can’t be easily convinced to kill their fellow man. It’s that if people are so easily fooled in this one matter they are easily fooled in every other issue. The guys in charge always know the real story and have other motivations for their war making and other acts.
