Did I read that right? Jeb Bush is Catholic??? No he isn’t!!! He might “say” he is Catholic, but he, his brother and Father are definitely NOT Catholic! Good luck my American neighbours!
Jeb is a convert. Under your definition, Scott Hahn is not a Catholic. My convert brother in law would not be either (he was raised Lutheran).

But why are we talking about Jeb?

What exactly are you trying to say. Because he was received into the Church in 1995.
"At Communion and Liberation’s annual Rimini Meeting last week, Jeb Bush, the former governor of Florida, spoke about why he decided to become a Catholic and of his opposition to those elected officials who think they should keep their faith “in a safety deposit box.”

Do you know what calumny is? What about the 8th commandment?

CCC

2477 Respect for the reputation of persons forbids every attitude and word likely to cause them unjust injury.278 He becomes guilty:
  • of rash judgment who, even tacitly, assumes as true, without sufficient foundation, the moral fault of a neighbor;
  • of detraction who, without objectively valid reason, discloses another’s faults and failings to persons who did not know them;279
  • of calumny who, by remarks contrary to the truth, harms the reputation of others and gives occasion for false judgments concerning them.

I’d like to think that even so called “traditionalist” Catholics would object to your thinking, assuming they subscribe to basic logic rather than some family guilt by association principle.

😦

Its always been an issue, it may not be as much of an issue as it once was. Catholic-O-Phobia has been alive and well since arriving here. 🙂

I don’t believe him. He has been pro abortion his entire life. Now all of a sudden, that he knows that in order to win a nomination he must align.himself with the pro life movement, has a change of heart. Sorry but I don’t buy it.
I don’t really buy it either, but I would expect him to maintain that façade while in the White House—at least to the extent that he won’t actively promote abortion. For Trump, it would probably be a non-issue that he wouldn’t spend much time on. And I would take going nowhere over going backwards.

Honestly I think the only thing that would make her end her campaign would be being convicted of a crime related to this. I don’t see her dropping out, her constituency doesn’t care
I agree, I think Obama said something to the effect of; “Im going to do everything I can to get to the bottom of this” and then he called for government control of the climate and all guns.

😃

If a pro-life bill was sent to his desk, do you think he would sign it?

Yes.

This is related:

What’s troubling is “pro-lifer” Paul Ryan budget funds Planned Parenthood for another year, the budget does take some funds away from the UN Family Planning Association.

lifesitenews.com/news/house-budget-bill-funds-planned-parenthood-reduces-unfpa-funds

So mulling over this, Ryan is a smart man, we will see. So if one questions Trump, I guess we need to look around.

Its plausible Ryan is just kicking the can down the road for a year too, but then again none of them seem to really do much once they get in about abortion anyway.

That said I really don’t see much difference with say Hillary or Trump as far as the caliphate and Isis go. Trump not long ago was content to let Putin handle it. Hillary wants to destroy them as frankly everyone does today except possibly Paul and who?

Still the national security is where the difference resides. Obama is giving a speech on this at any moment.

I honestly prefer Trump than that liberal Hillary Clinton but nether can be very trusted to change our culture of death because We must trust in God more than anything

There’s no contradiction between trusting in God more than anything and voting for one of the humans whose names appear on the ballot.

Jeb Bush is a pro-life Catholic.
He intervened in the Terry Schiavo case to have her feeding tube re-inserted, thus trying to save her life.
I’ve been taking another look at Jeb Bush.
I think we could do a lot worse than voting for him. I know people equate him with establishment and don’t want another Bush(I didn’t either) but I think he is more pro-life than either George H. or George W. were.
I am disappointed in Ben Carson’s recent comments on the Terry Schiavo case, too.
Ben Carson was originally my guy, but now I don’t know.
I had forgotten about Jeb Bush’s intervention to keep Terry from being starved to death.
Actions speak louder than words.

Plus, hate to say it but he has tons of experience in foreign policy.
It’s just that, people don’t want the same old same old now.

I understand that. But many people in America are forgetting about Christ being a part of the political process in Our Nation by their establishing immoral laws and promoting secularism to children in public schools

That’s how I feel. Seriously, there are only one or two families in this entire country that can produce viable candidates for POTUS? Enough already.

Bush is like the third sequel to a film which wasn’t that good in the first place.

I don’t care for either of them, but Trump has thoroughly pwned Jeb, as the kids put it these days. If Jeb can’t handle someone like Trump on the campaign trail, then how is he going to handle someone like Putin?
