Are you really saying it would have been ok with you if Saddam had used WMD as long as it wasn’t on this country?

I think we’re going to find out soon enough what Bush prevented in taking out Saddam. In a few years, Iran will have nuclear weapons, and we’ll see (unfortunately) what that looks like.
 
If I remember correctly, Bolton knew that Iraq had WMD’s at one time because either he or Cheney had sold them to Iraq.

Yes, and Italian. Don’t know how that one slipped me by.
 
And we’re still trying to sell them to foreigners not necessarily our allies.
 
I wouldn’t t be OK with it. But it isn’t the US’s job to preemptively stop everyone. We remain the only country to have actually nuked anyone.
 
It is indeed very scary for our nation to have someone with the personality and temperament of a Donald Trump who acts on impulse, possibly having John Bolton being the last person to have his ear.

Because Trump has proven to be a terrible leader with no respect for the people in his administration, the only people he can now persuade to join him are second tier has beens.

It is a sad time for our nation.
