The only difference is that it’s not a career nor is it a full time job. I also assume they don’t have to support families or worrying about survival. There are very big differences between kids working part time in the fields and People of Color who do so for a living. Sorry. Major differences.

Illegal immigration is a security risk our country can ill afford, a path for criminals of every stripe to escape prosecution, a danger to American citizens, and a danger to those otherwise innocent who try to take this “easy” road. It’s also a slap in the face to those who - facing even worse conditions than those who choose to sneak across the border - still work their way through our immigration system within the law and earn their citizenship.
The San Diego beach I once played on as a child is now unsafe because of how frequently boats from Mexico come ashore and disgorge dozens of illegal aliens. My sister is often a prisoner in her own house because of illegal aliens crossing the border near her home, occasionally stopping to look in her windows.
White privilege is an excuse for people who insist that everything is based on the color of one’s skin, and the crutch propping up real, modern racism by painting all those not of European descent as permanent victims incapable of bettering themselves.

These 35 or 45 year olds who work in Starbucks or Any retail or fast food restaurant make the best employees. For them, it’s a career, for teenagers, it’s just a way for them to make money.
