Here’s a plot of the requests, by the Washington Post. Personally, when I read articles I focus on the content and don’t dismiss it just because of the URL. Even Mother Jones gets some of their facts right, sometimes.
As will Trump. When she talks about foreign-policy experience he’ll talk about Benghazi. When she talks about women’s rights he’ll talk about Juanita Broderick . When she talks about integrity he’ll talk about the FBI emails and the pay for play at the Clinton foundation was evidently involved in . I have said all on the only reason Trump has a chance to win this election is because of the deeply flawed candidate the Democrats are putting forward-a candidate they picked eight years ago and stuck with even as her ineptness became more and more evident.
I make a point not to answer questions that are contingent on DJT being nominated by the Republican Party.

Chris Stevens paid for Hillary Clinton’s lack of ability to hold a Cabinet position. She did not perform with integrity and regard for our country. Her neglect of responding to the requests for help in the life and death event have been documented.
To this day she continues to lie to the families of those killed in Benghazi . Those men were allowed to die because it was not politically expedient for Obama tobknowledge that terrorism was not under “control” . Thus th abandonment of these men and the lie that the so-called riots were because of an obscure video that mocked Mohamed.
Four Americans died in the Benghazi attack and if mistakes were made that caused those deaths, they should be acknowledged. But who in the Bush administration has taken responsibility for all those killed in the ill conceived war in Iraq? There have been 4,491 U.S. service members killed in Iraq between 2003 and 2014. Have Republicans been demanding that George Bush, Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney, Colon Powell or other members of the Bush administration acknowledge their mistakes and that they be held responsible for all those deaths?
I wasn’t aware Bush was running for president in 2016 ?
Yes, it was a war waged under false pretenses or, at best, due to ignorance on the part of our intelligence. The American soldiers in Iraq who were killed were casualties of war, as soldiers are in all wars. They were entitled to the proper equipment and a feasible mission, including a proper exit strategy, all of which perhaps they did not have. However, Chris Stevens (together with his compatriots) was a U.S. Ambassador who, while in a dangerous situation, to be sure, was entitled to the explicit protection of the State Department. So, while your comparison has some merit, it strikes me as a significantly different situation.
But Bush did run for a second term and I don’t remember any Republicans demanding that he be held responsible then either.
And this is relevant to a thread about Donald Trump and the 2016 election because?
Yes, you can’t get on Trump for the abysmal policies of Bush. After all, he was the only one in the debates to point out that Bush did not keep us safe and that the Iraq War was mistake.
Actually, Trump pretty much goes after the GOP for anything anyone can think of.
He reminds me of Reagan.
How so? It seems to me Reagan had a clear vision of what he wanted to accomplish and focused on one or two main ideas without changing his mind. Trump appears the opposite, at least as a candidate.
Yet the number of Americans who care about Benghazi, Broderick, and HRC’s emails is low – the number who even know about them perhaps even lower.
And even if that’s accurate, how much of that is down to ignorance of not even knowing much about these issues?
