Most Republicans and many Democrats did, based on the best possible intelligence at the time. Do you give credit to Hillary for voting with President Bush? If not, then do you believe Bush should not have invaded Iraq? (And where were you on the night of March 23rd…? Sorry, too many Perry Masons.)
I agree that all voted based on the intelligence of the time.My only point is,if that fact that Pence supported it,is an issue for some, then it should be an issue for them re Hillary as well. Now,as has been pointed out ,the issue re Pence it that he apparently has chosen to not go there re his choice. To that I say “What difference at this point, does it make anyway”😉
The truth is,Hillary with all her lies obfuscation and corrupt past, has set a new low bar re our candidates. It seems Trump should be able to say or do pretty much anything and be given a pass,if we are to be consistent in our treatment .
As far as what was I doingbMarchb23… At the hospital, holding and admiring me newly born granddaughter.🙂

She may (like myself) have no idea what it means, however she did manage not to abuse the grieving family of a dead soldier
I agree. My point is that I literally do not believe that Hillary does not know what a Gold Star mother is. I am sure she dealt with Gold Star mothers and families as both first lady and as Senator. It may not be a familiar term to Americans with little or no connection to the military, but it is a common term for those that work with military families.

Hillary was First Lady, a Senator and Secretary of State. Trust me, she knows what a Gold Star Mother is. And if she doesn’t after holding all those positions in government, one has to wonder where her mind was at during all that time?

Well that and the term is Gold Star Mothers, not Golden Star Mothers. Who knows what the context of that particular question to Clinton was in full.

I really do not see how you Americans can elect a man as your president who insults the mother of an officer of the United States army buried in Arlington. I have American friends whose fathers are buried there. Their ghosts will rise in disgust if Trump is elected.
Because I know many who have aborted their babies and quite simply, one was to be a niece of mine, not buried but left in a heap of medical waste. That’s how.

These children never had the chance to live and even be an American soldier or President of the United States. Clinton doesn’t take the unborn into account when she talks about when the glass ceiling is lifted all Americans win. Nope, not the ones killed in the abortion mills she supports, wants to expand and even do away with the Hyde amendment don’t win at all.

I just really want something to stick to the bottom of his shoe for a change. I feel like either the country has gone crazy or Trump has sold his soul to the devil. How anybody can defend him is beyond me.
I’m trying to wrap my head around the concept of Catholics defending or even voting for Clinton. It’s totally beyond me.

(and no, I’m not a Trump supporter)

Are you also perplexed at Clinton voters? She has repeatedly called the Benghazi parents liars. I would hope you would hold both candidates to the same standard.

Don’t hold your breath…😦

First of all, you have a great alibi. Mazel Tov!

Second, I agree with you that if one criticizes Pence for his stand on the Iraq War, one should also criticize Hillary. And what difference does it make at this point? So true. We must deal with the present situation, which means defeating ISIS.

So far as the new low bar is concerned, I have every confidence that Trump will, if he has not already done so, go even lower than Hillary and set a new Olympic record. But whichever one becomes President, I wish them a successful term in office because their success means the country’s success.

Khizr Khan Smeared As A Terrorist For Speaking Out Against Donald Trump
The man whose son sacrificed his life serving the U.S. military is facing accusations that he’s tied to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Moral of the story?
Wow, they’re really doubling down on this disaster aren’t they… 🍿

Attack and then attack some more isn’t going to work this time.

And just logically, the Muslim Brotherhood is an Egyptian Social and Political group. The Khan family are originally from Pakistan via the UAE. Why would they denounce a group who’s got nothing to do with them?

I’m not sure. I am more interested in what Trump said about the family of the dead soldier and why
So youre not interested in why Hillary attacked the Mother of a fallen hero but are interested about Trump allegedly doing the same?

That’s right. I don’t think the Trump is is an allegation

Top Jeb Bush adviser leaves GOP, will vote for Clinton if Florida close

From the link:

Bradshaw, who’s been close to the former Florida governor for decades and was senior adviser to his 2016 campaign, officially switched her registration to unaffiliated. She told CNN’s Jamie Gangel in an email interview that the GOP is “at a crossroads and have nominated a total narcissist – a misogynist – a bigot.”

“This is a time when country has to take priority over political parties. Donald Trump cannot be elected president,” Bradshaw said.

…]

“This election cycle is a test,” Bradshaw said. “As much as I don’t want another four years of (President Barack) Obama’s policies, I can’t look my children in the eye and tell them I voted for Donald Trump. I can’t tell them to love their neighbor and treat others the way they wanted to be treated, and then vote for Donald Trump. I won’t do it.”

Her decision comes amid controversy over Trump’s criticism of the family of an Muslim-American soldier killed in action in Iraq in 2004. Bradshaw called that remark “despicable,” saying it “made me sick to my stomach.”

“Donald Trump belittled a woman who gave birth to a son who died fighting for the United States. If anything, that reinforced my decision to become an independent voter,” she said. “Every family who loses a loved one in service to our country or who has a family member who serves in the military should be honored, regardless of their political views. Vets and their family have more than earned the right to those views. Someone with the temperament to be president would understand and respect that.”

Bradshaw said the latest incident reinforced how she was feeling about the decision she’s long weighed.
