Serious question: what’s the reason for this double standard? Is it because Bill is a man and Melania a woman? Or is it because he’s democrat and she’s republican?

Not desperate at all. The RNC made a conscious choice NOT to mention “pro-life” in either prime time speech by Trump or Pence, and now we’re seeing the fruits of that decision to downplay “pro-life” so Trump could highlight “LBGTQ” for those homosexuals who might be against abortion. That’s what I find puzzling: two nights of prime time viewing to highlight “pro-life,” and they chose to highlight GAY Republicans instead. 🤷

Maybe that has to do with the gay club being attacked in Orlando, which ties into homeland security and immigration policy, which happens to be part of trumps main agenda?

But he will be shocked to find out that he’ll have to cooperate with Congress, including possibly a Democratic Senate.
He will “use his pen” like crazy and I suspect that he’ll have an enemy’s list to put Nixon to shame. He has already said someone should “look into” Jeff Bezos, owner of the Washington Post. He probably also isn’t too happy with the high tech companies who usually donate GOP but this time are staying out or outright hostile.

My biggest worry is that I don’t believe he is the kind of person who will listen to advice.

Most all High Tech companies are ran by ultra liberals. I am voting for Trump as he is the only person running that wants to really create private sector jobs here in the USA. I do believe he can and will renegotiate all these economic treaties and agreements that have harmed the middle class here in the USA.

Big government is against him because he wants to limit the flow of new democratic voters from over the border. Big Business is against him because he wants to limit the flow of cheap labor from over the border. All you government worker just dont have the ability to understand what the private sector worker is going thru these past 9 years.

But Trump did say that he would nominate somebody with the judicial philosophy of Antonin Scalia. The nomination choice or possible choices for the Supreme Court if more Justices get nominated could well have consequences far longer than the next President’s term or two terms. Mike Pence didn’t mention abortion by name, but he has a track record of doing good things on the issue of life in Indiana.

At the DNC, the President of Planned Parenthood, Cecile Richards was seen sitting near or next to Bill Clinton and she gave a speech at the DNC, the President of NARAL gave a speech and talked about her abortion… which I think received cheers in the audience in response… what about that?!

Isn’t Bill Clinton? Yet despite his past misgivings he is incredibly popular in the Democratic Party. Both these men may have privately repented of their sins and it’s really a private issue for both of them.

Yes. While we are not to put our hope in men, voting for Trump is based on my reasonable hope that Trump might actually follow-through on what he says about this.

Voting for Hillary transgresses my reason and my hope, because I believe she certainly will follow-through with her convictions.

I may be a fool, but I’m not going to vote against a viable hope for the extension of the pro-life fight.
