That’s one of the reasons Trump is so scary. He has no self control.Yeah Trump’s attacks on the Khans have continued after Pence issued that statement. He really doesn’t know when to shut his mouth.![]()

Could be, but I doubt it. One who has no self control doesn’t succeed in business. What Trump actually does with statement like this is break the PC code; something most people don’t adhere to anyway and don’t much like having imposed on them. That’s one of the reasons Trump is so scary. He has no self control.
However, the other candidates have not proposed a policy of banning Muslims from entering this country based on their religion. That is an important difference. The purpose of the Khans’ strong words against Trump was based on the fact that there are already Muslim Americans in this country who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. The other candidates would agree with that and would not start a childish argument that they too have sacrificed, as opposed to what Trump has done. But, as I have said before, he really cannot help himself because he has a personality disorder. There is nothing Khan said that did not apply to every single candidate for president and vice president in this election or to Barrack Obama Unlike with Hillary nobody died But I’m sure we’ll see a few more days of false outrage but in the end it matters not
HC voted for the war as well.Of course Pence is being used to clean it up. That’s what he’s there for. He’s the actual pro-lifer who actually respects the military and military service people. That said, he might want to look at who actually started the war in Iraq and who voted for it…
Hint, his party’s president did and he voted for it personally![]()
Indeed she did. Why does any comment critical of Trump or Pence immediately get a, “but HRC did XXX or HRC did XXX too”?HC voted for the war as well.
Most Republicans and many Democrats did, based on the best possible intelligence at the time. Do you give credit to Hillary for voting with President Bush? If not, then do you believe Bush should not have invaded Iraq? (And where were you on the night of March 23rd…? Sorry, too many Perry Masons.)HC voted for the war as well.
Right, if Trumps own words can’t do it, nothing will. The anti-Trump crowd stands about as much chance of turning us against Trump as we do of turning the other side against Hillary Clinton.
Filtered through Dick Cheney’s office. Most Republicans and many Democrats did, based on the best possible intelligence at the time.
I don’t think he can help himself not because of a personality disorder (though I won’t rule it out), rather it’s because he’s made being blatantly anti-muslim a centerpiece of his campaign. To admit the Khans are right is to admit he’s wrong on one of his key campaign points that he’s been rallying people behind. He’s lashing out because the Khans have rightly painted him into a corner he can’t get out of on the point. However, the other candidates have not proposed a policy of banning Muslims from entering this country based on their religion. If you argument against Pence is because he supported and served in a war you don’t agree with, then it seems logical to me to point out that HC supported the as well.Correct?Indeed she did. Why does any comment critical of Trump or Pence immediately get a, “but HRC did XXX or HRC did XXX too”?
Clinton being a bad candidate does not make what Trump is doing or what Trump has done any better. They’re both pitifully bad candidates. Which is why 25% of Americans so far are voting for neither.
Not really, my argument wasn’t that Pence supported the war. It’s that he’s conveniently forgetting that he supported the war. Clinton also having supported it is not relevant to that discussion since she’s not denying it. Trump and Pence have been ignoring the fact Pence supported the war since the night Pence was announced as running mate. Last night’s statement was just a continuation of that by trying to paint the rise of Daesh as being solely on the heads of Obama and Clinton. Which ignores that Daesh’s rise is as much a result of the ill advised Iraq War as anything Obama and Clinton did… a war Pence conveniently seems to ignore he voted for along with his then Republican President Bush.If you argument against Pence is because he supported and served in a war you don’t agree with, then it seems logical to me to point out that HC supported the as well.Correct?
The point is that Trump the evidence points to Trump being no more pro-life than Clinton is. His history shows he was pro-choice, and he won’t deny having had a partner undergo an abortion. His “pro-life” history is only as long as his campaign for president. It’s a position of electoral convenience, nothing more. And he’s got some pretty un-Catholic views on other issues as well. He’s arguably just as bad of a candidate on the balance from a Catholic perspective as Clinton. Neither candidate shares Catholic values on many issues, including abortion. In fact so far there’s only one candidate who supports mostly devout Catholic values socially, and that’s Gary Johnson. Not Trump, and clearly not Clinton. Saying Trump is the lesser of two evils is deluding yourself on who Trump is, and what he actually has shown himself to believe when it’s not politically expedient.Re whether to vote for Trump vs Hillary, speaking as a devout Catholic,in my mind Trump is the lesser of two evils so to speak as there is at least a hope and a promise by him to nominate prolife judges and adhere to our Constitution.Hillary on the other hand is just a continuation of the ruinous and transformative policies ofcObama only worse. Obama is a diehard ideologue.Hillary is that and more, just plain corrupt.
I believe Hillary is basically a hawk. This is a serious fault in my view. Trump, on the other hand, who was opposed to the Iraq War, as were Sanders and Obama, is a nationalist. I partially give him credit for that except that he may be too isolationist. We do live in a global economy, which, as a successful entrepreneur, I’m sure Trump realizes. If you argument against Pence is because he supported and served in a war you don’t agree with, then it seems logical to me to point out that HC supported the as well.Correct?
As Trump himself pointed out, he could shoot someone and he wouldn’t lose any voters. I’m beginning to think he’s right when it comes to his most ardent supporters. The anti-Trump crowd stands about as much chance of turning us against Trump as we do of turning the other side against Hillary Clinton.
I’d hope he realizes it considering he hires immigrants the same as everyone else, and most of his products are made in China and other foreign countries.I believe Hillary is basically a hawk. Don’t give him ideas. As Trump himself pointed out, he could shoot someone and he wouldn’t lose any voters. I’m beginning to think he’s right when it comes to his most ardent supporters.![]()
Which are you choosing? Abortion is murder, or it’s ok to it’s ok to vote for someone whose goal is to make sure abortion on demand remains legal?
I find it hard to believe that Hillary does not know what a Gold Star mother is. I find it hard to believe that everyone does not know what a Gold Star mother is.Khan’s father said something odd in an interview: something about America’s “golden star mother.” Hillary Clinton was asked about it in an interview yesterday and she said she had no clue what that means.
She may (like myself) have no idea what it means, however she did manage not to abuse the grieving family of a dead soldierI find it hard to believe that Hillary does not know what a Gold Star mother is. I find it hard to believe that everyone does not know what a Gold Star mother is.
A Gold Star mother is a mother whose child has died in service to their country.
