I find that some people are just blowing out of proportion Trump’s flaws, and are in effect playing right into the hands of the leftist media, who would like nothing more than see Hillary Clinton and/or Sanders win the presidency.

It would be nice that if we are going to dissect everything that Trump says (even though most are just getting sound bites of his speeches) that we do the same to the other candidates to be fair.

p.s. I am not denying that Trump has said some stupid or rather made some insensitive comments, but I don’t believe he’s the racist that people are purporting him to be.
Well said, and he is honest and that takes up some slack. I’m not in his corner but I don’t have problems with him.

I think Rush had a good analogy, what if one called the exterminator because one had problems with pests in one’s house; the exterminator is vulgar and boastful but in the end, he does his job. Rush was saying, this is kind of the way that Trump supporters think.

I understand your point; but carrying Rush’s analogy a little further, whom does he think Trump will attempt to exterminate? ISIS perhaps, and which others?

Church teaching tells us not to vote for politicians that enable abortion, this is a deflection to the debate. Whomever votes for politicians that enable abortion, vote for the culture of death.

Accusing the Republicans of doing this per a Supreme Court decision is just spiteful; there are other parties involved.
The Church teaches that we should not vote for politicians who “directly” support abortion.

However, in the past 40 years , there has been very little legislation brought through Congress which members vote on, that directly supports abortions.

The Church also teaches that we’re to use our conscience and chose the candidate which closely reflects Church teaching.

Trump is far from Church teaching on so many issues its amazing how Catholic’s support him, but condemn Obama at the same time.

And being that many politicians are too scared to speak up on issues that are plaguing the States, Trump seems to be a little more than refreshing to those who appreciate a bit more candor from their candidates and less political correctness.

I assume one says this from the vantage point of not having ever helped enable abortion through pro-choice politicians; thank you.

I believe we’re going to see agitators showing up at Hillary rallies at similar levels to Trumps.

Trump has already told his supporters to go the Sanders rallies and heckle him, but Sanders is pretty much finished, so they’ll head to Hillary rallies.

I’d choose Trump over Obama any day of the week (sorry, but Obama is SO pro-choice that when he was senator he went against a bill that would prevent partial birth abortion and infanticide).

So the point is that direct abortion is not something that can be easily sorted by party affiliation (it is a remote issue) especially when there are so many other issues that actually are more direct.

He wasn’t a US Senator then, but opposed legislation that did not have " except to save the life of the mother clause in it." The bill would not have passed until that provision was added and he then supported it, but again, he was not a US Senator and could not have vote on it,

That’s what happens when you stroke the fascist wolf.
How do we know Trump didn’t pay these rock throwers? It’s all theater. Gets more attention to him. Wouldn’t surprise me.
I’m waiting for someone to say trump is the great Satan himself.

I’m pretty certain that when Obama was senator he rejected the “born alive act”, which in effect was referring to infanticide (a botched abortion in which a baby was born alive despite attempts on its life).

He is considered by Planned Parenthood as being the MOST pro-choice president who ever occupied the White House.

People have monitored how the protestors are being organized, and it’s by militant left wing agitators and groups, the ones funded by like of Soros or moveon.org.

Trying to blame this orchestrated violence on Trump is a pathetic deflection.
What “people”? Right wing news outlets?
It would serve Trump well to have violence happening at his rallies. Gets him more attention.

And pray tell, what needs extermination?

Yes, voted against the Born Alive Protection Act 4 different times.

Also, other states are not the abortion havens that states such as Massachusetts, New York or California are, constitutionally, some states surely would outlaw abortion, so it’s not even settled law nor is it settled law that fetuses could be eventually given 14th amendment protection. So, again, it’s tired to hear excuses to vote for pro-choice types of politicians.

Crucial reading for anyone who calls himself Catholic:

Resisting the Demagogue - George Weigel

firstthings.com/web-exclusives/2016/03/resisting-the-demagogue

“There is nothing remotely Catholic about the Trump sensibility.”

“So by all means, fellow-Americans, be angry. But please don’t channel that anger into support for a candidate who is utterly unfit—by character, by wit, or by life experience—to lead America for the next four years.”

“… thanks to Obama administration fecklessness, the next president is going to face the most dangerous world situation since 1947.”

The thought of Trump with his finger on the nuclear button is truly terrifying.

washingtonexaminer.com/border-patrol-union-trump-is-the-only-candidate-to-support-agents/article/2586274

"The largest U.S. Border Patrol union local is praising Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for being the “only candidate” to support their tough mission, "

“‘Mr. Trump is the only candidate that has publicly expressed his support of our mission and our agents. He has been an outspoken candidate on the need for a Secure Border and for this we are grateful,’ said a statement from Art Del Cueto, president of Local 2544 of the National Border Patrol Council, the representative of 18,000 agents.”
