She’ll have to. But this is how all elections go, talk to the base to start with, and then move to a more centrist view in the general. After all, most people don’t know or don’t remember what was said in the primaries by a candidate. Some don’t care.
Right, I predict both Clinton and Trump move to the center (assuming both earn nomination). There was some question that Clinton would go left to pull the Sanders folks. Up against Trump I think she will go center though - that is what this Israel gesture indicates to me.
But this thread is about Donald Trump, not Republicans. He has not been an advocate for the unborn.
Perhaps this criticism can be repeated to others who have spoken about Republicans here if one follows the conversation of just the previous pages if one is fair. I don’t think if one makes such points against whomever, they should not be defended if I find the criticism unfair.

Who wants every woman to go to prison? The issue is whether or not a mother who has murdered her child should be punished. Why should a husband who murders his wife be punished, but if a mother murders her child, she should be free to do so? Not every woman should be punished, only the murderers of children.
So is it then a mortal sin for a Roman Catholic to vote for Hillary? Hillary is not only pro-choice, but she has said that Catholics and others must change their religious beliefs on this question.

I have to agree. I don’t know precise what her strategy is – which is not to suggest that she doesn’t have one (I’m careful not to underestimate her) – but presenting the Democrats as the pro-Israel party is very smart. Unless she can’t pull it off, but I suspect that she can.
They are very reliable sources better than right wing Fox news, Rush Limbaugh. GOP has voted in favor of corporate outsourcing of American jobs to Communist China which fuelrd the largest economic expansion since the industrial age accceptt the creation of jobs and wealth have been to Communist Red China. They have killed every job bill sent by Obama, refuse to increase wages, cut social programs to help people get back on their feet, have refused to reign in Wall Street and Big Banks, have given tax breaks and subsidies to larger corporation, I can go on and on how the GOP has destroyed America
I think that Lindsey Graham is a disaster in many ways.
Back in the day, Hillary Clinton was a hawk. She toned it down after Obama won the election and kind of took over the direction of the Democratic party in 2008. And of course she joined forces with him - Benghazi being the biggest disaster there. She will have to answer for that. But I do buy the pro-Israel stuff from her - she has done it before and both parties have always been strongly pro Israel, until Obama, completely bipartisan. This is just lost territory she is picking back up on the Dem side. It will play well with the Jewish vote and many independents, moderates, both parties. Ted Cruz territory here - she is going to the right of Trump.I have to agree. And - given the incredibly dangerous era in which we live - the thought of having a Commander in Chief with no foreign policy experience whatsoever (even less than Obama had!) is a truly frightening possibility. Add in a volatile (to say the least) temperament, and the prospect becomes truly scary.

When did she change? Presumably she supported the high-altitude bombing in Serbia. She supported the Islamic takeover in Libya and Egypt. She supported the doubtful rebels in Syria, and supported the Iraq War. How many wars does she need to favor before people think of her as a hawk?
Foreign Policy is about negotiation so Trump has extensive experience.
