At bare minimum it shows that Trump isn’t actually pro-life, as a true pro-life person wouldn’t change his position overnight like this. He could be lying now… but he’s not trustworthy enough to take that gamble.
I think it shows that he has given no honest, meaningful thought to the issue. He shoots from the gut - that I believe, but I don’t think abortion matters to him at all. He’s just now learning that it matters to others.

Oh well, he’s not the first (and won’t be the last) politician to stumble over the political football that is abortion.

If SC takes delegates away from trump, it should do the same with Cruz and Kasich.
I’m not sure how that would work. While it’s true that Trump only got 32.5% of the vote in South Carolina, it’s also true that he has 100% of the delegates.

I’m a moderate republican as well.

I thought Romney was not a bad candidate. I would have thought he could have attracted many independents. I didn’t think he was as extreme as Obama. He lost anyway.

I’m thinking there is somewhat of a disconnect in the republican party in general. I thought Jeb was good and Rubio.
From the beginning, I felt Rubio was the Farty’s best hope. I think he could have hammered home the new, young energized Republicans - the grown up Reagan babies. I don’t think anyone was interested in another Bush/Clinton show-down, even though I consider Jeb a better person and a better political leader than his brother.

Maybe, but maybe not. Remember that many political observers note that Reagan would have a difficult time in today’s version of the GOP.

Personally I think a Clinton v Cruz matchup would be interesting, as I believe it would dispel the notion that the Republican failed to win the general election because he wasn’t conservative enough.
I would like a Clinton v. Cruz matchup just so that the Republicans stop complaining they never have a true conservative to compete against the liberal Democrat. In this respect, a Sanders v. Cruz matchup would be even better. However, the evil political junkie in me would love a Clinton v. Trump race, which would be gloriously vicious on both sides. I still maintain that Trump has a better shot against Clinton than does Cruz despite the fact Trump has now successfully antagonized just about every liberal and conservative faction.

If SC takes delegates away from trump, it should do the same with Cruz and Kasich. They’ve all said the same thing. But you won’t hear the media saying cruz and kasich don’t want to support trump as nominee.
You are correct, of course. But Trump is running to keep up with both Cruz and Kasich when it comes to the age-old Art of understanding and manipulating delegates.

New Poll: Women Really Don’t Like Trump

redstate.com/kimberly_ross/2016/04/02/new-poll-women-really-dont-like-trump/

…Trump’s image among U.S. women tilts strongly negative, with 70% of women holding an unfavorable opinion and 23% a favorable opinion of the Republican front-runner in March. Trump’s unfavorable rating among women has been high since Gallup began tracking it last July, but after rising slightly last fall, it has increased even further since January.

With posts like this, I’m tempted to post various videos of “women for trump” meme, but then I’d be accused of trump propaganda.

The Republicans may not be able to take him out, but the Democrats certainly will.
I don’t see how you can claim that it is certain that the Democrats will “take him out”. That might be your personal opinion, looking at the present polls, but I don;t see it as certain. For example, if Hillary is indicted and put in jail, as Carly Fiorina said she should be, then I am not so sure that Hillary would get the votes needed to win. And there are many other scenarios which would result in her losing.

Have you ever looked at or heard his daughter?
And Patty Hearst was extremely dedicated to the SLA too.

It is not much of a point that people are dedicated to those that have been instrumental in shaping them.

That does not change the fact that Trump will have absolutely no traction with the vast majority of women voters. For every one who appreciates men who abuse and debase women like Trump does, there are ten who hold him in contempt for such things.

It will be his blood flowing from the ballot box. No self-respecting woman will give him the time of day.

His appeal is to the baseness that exists in men, He has no appeal to either the virtues or the vices of any significant female demographic.
