You’re not really giving yourself much time to think and are just responding. Think on it for a few days and then let’s talk.
Here’s some thoughts. The further we move to the left, socialism in the forms of communism or fascism, the worse things are. Violence is fomented by those seeking power between citizens who actually do not disagree on much.

Agents of government abuse citizens, then their leaders sit back and allow And even encourage violent riots to overcome peaceful protests. The unity caused by the original event is lost in the intentional infusion of violence by movement leaders.
In Germany, the Nazis did. In Russia, communists did it, too.

If Americans allow themes to goaded or coerced to follow those two example, the republic is doomed to authoritarianism.

There is a website. To deny it being an organization is absurd.
There is an organization; there is much more a belief. Which is what I said.

You choose to limn the belief with any drawbacks you perceive in the organization. That’s unfair.

You’d think Catholics of all people would understand this, given how frequently their beliefs are attacked for the actions of their church (e.g. the sex abuse scandals, cover-ups)

Maybe you should learn what socialism and communism are and how different they are from fascism and Nazism.
The color of shirt they wear. Beyond that, in the end, the results are the same. Authoritarian/totalitarian tyranny and a denial of individual rights.

What is the belief? That the rights and lives of American blacks are equal to the rights and lives of every other American, and that government has no legitimate power to violate said?
If that’s the belief, I’m 100% on board. The website is not so specific and clear.

He needs to spend a little more time thinking about it.
I’ve spent 45 years thinking about it. I’ve read about how fascists and Nazis murdered and abused citizens and exercised strict control of the means of production, and how communists did the same.
The people who need to think about it are those who would make the horrible mistake of siding with any brand of socialist.

Why did it take the staff 3 (three) hours to be able to get in touch with the President. That seems to be a long time to be unavailable. I realize this was only a political emergency, but it was potentially more important to his future as President than the golf game was.

Who, specifically.
People who defend politicians who separate minority children from their parents, for example.
Go read their manifesto. Unlike those making up accusations against Americans without specificity, I’ve looked at specific documents.
I suspect you’ve looked but not seen. What I have seen is this:

Throughout black people’s struggles against racism, conservative political theory has always stood in their way. Racists invoked the conservative principle of states rights to defend the institutions of slavery. People who wanted to deny black people housing, like Donald Trump’s father, would argue that keeping their apartment values higher by being white-only was their right as a free enterprise. Conservatives consistently fought social programs that would help minorities with social problems in their communities while simultaneously supporting violent police “crackdowns” on those same problems. To this day people are using the conservative’s religious freedom bills to racist ends, like refusing interracial marriage.

What I see is that conservatives are now shocked, SHOCKED! that after decades of wielding their principles like a weapon against minorities, for some reason black people don’t share their ideology. “How dare they have heroes other than ours? We are the Real Americans; having other political theories and champions makes you un-american!” is the protest of the BLM opposition.

[The Catholic Cardinal] also said about Karl Marx:Without him, there would not be any Catholic social doctrine.” Moreover, he made it clear that Karl Marx is not responsible for the crimes of Stalinism… [The Catholic Cardinal] quoted approvingly a statement of a professor for Catholic social doctrine which says: “We all stand on the shoulders of Karl Marx.” The prelate then added that “Marx was not a mere ideologue,” claiming that Marx “did not at all propagate an anarchical overthrow.”

From my perspective, I am allowed, in polite society, to honor my Dad’s heritage. I am not allowed to honor my Mom’s. Why is this okay?
Having a shared cultural heritage is certainly a valid basis for organizations, festivals, and parades. No one would object to a “German Cultural Fair” in their downtown or a “French Student Association” on a college campus. Since African-Americans share a cultural heritage, as you point out, it is perfectly fine for them to have analogous organizations.

I will argue, however, that “______ Pride” organizations are an entirely different animal. They are not principally based on cultural heritage (unless it is a Cultural Pride organization, obviously.) They are fundamentally a reaction against real or perceived marginalization. Black Pride did not come about to celebrate cultural heritage, it came about as a retort to those who still believed people with dark skin were inferior. Gay Pride was not founded to celebrate gay culture, but to declare that a gay lifestyle is not something to be ashamed of. (I would argue that gays, like white people, are too diverse to claim a unifying culture.) So ultimately a “White Pride” organization “makes sense” if we can find some force that is discriminating against white people.

I don’t believe that there is any actual widespread discrimination against white people, but it is easy to see that there are plenty of white people who perceive themselves as discriminated against. Those are the sorts of people who would be drawn to a “White Pride” organization. The reason “White Pride” groups seem to be rooted in ignorance, racism, and fear is because those are the forces which cause someone to feel discrimination where none exists.

He is absolutely out for lunch if he thinks Catholic social justice owes anything to Karl Marx.

Here’s another German who just so happens to be emeritus pope describing socialism:

The world is truly going mad when you have Catholic bishops no less advocating socialism even though it has been categorically been denounced by the Church.

In all cases, the white deaths due to police outweigh all others. However,
Hey あのんくん, the report you shared doesn’t appear to support that when viewed proportionate to the respective populations.

White people make up about 61% of the population, non-white Hispanics are about 18%, black people are about 12 or 13%. If everyone had an equal chance of being shot by police the expected outcomes would be proportional to those numbers. But in the numbers shown in the report of the first link you’ve shared white people account for 40% of police shootings (proportionately below the population%) whole black people are in 22% of the shootings (disproportionately high).

You could easily celebrate the European heritage of any individual family member, so this is absolutely untrue. It’s only the praising of “whiteness” as an identity that’s shunned, and quite rightly. I’m white but frankly there’s no reason to strongly identify as such unless you subscribe to some kind of dodgy racial politics. I am English or British primarily.
Whites only commit about 43% of homicides. If we are concerned with police brutality, it would logically follow that whites have a much stronger claim to be a victim of this issue.
But black people are killed incredibly disproportionatly compared to their percentage of the population, just as they are overrepresented in crime statistics, in prisons and in poverty. You said here:
For every sample of violent crime, perpetrators will be ~40% white and ~50% black. Taking this into account, the data doesn’t point to racial overrepresentation.
Which just leads us back to black people being overrepresented in data corresponding to poverty, which is another sign of systematic oppression, or whatever you want to call it.
Furthermore, particularly in elite society, being a minority in any capacity (racial or sexual) is a veritable golden ticket to limitless opportunities. White men are forced to attain coveted positions on their own merit, and more often than not, are pushed out by less qualified competitors who have the right skin color or sexual orientation.
Is there any evidence of this? That lots and lots of adequate white people are being turned down in professional and academic positions for being white? It’s asserted frequently but I’m unsure if it’s true.

Still don’t have names. If you’re talking about the border, Obama, Trump, the Ninth Circuit, and any adult foreign national who comes with children and crosses illegally? These people?
Throughout black people’s struggles against racism, conservative political theory has always stood in their way.
And that, of course, is a lie. It is Democrat progressives that have stood in their way, and to the extent they can, still do.
Racists invoked the conservative principle of states rights to defend the institutions of slavery.
Racist Democrats abused The constitutional principle of the tenth amendment to that end.
Conservatives consistently fought social programs that would help minorities with social problems in their communities
You mean the social programs that destroyed the nuclear family, imposed inter generational poverty and dependence of, guess who, progressive Democrats.
while simultaneously supporting violent police “crackdowns” on those same problems.
Who runs the inner cities? Democrats. Who is in charge of those police departments? Democrats.
To this day people are using the conservative’s religious freedom bills to racist ends, like refusing interracial marriage.
Who, where is refusing interracial marriage? I live in the south and see more and more interracial couples all of the time? Interracial adoptions, too.
What I see is that conservatives are now shocked, SHOCKED! that after decades of wielding their principles like a weapon against minorities, for some reason black people don’t share their ideology.
I think it is rather remarkable that progressives have been able to do this, blame conservatives, and get away with the lie.
In this recent set of events, an agent of the Minneapolis government, run by a progressive, kills an American citizen. Then across the country, legitimate protests are used as cover for violent progressive groups to riot, burn and loot minority businesses, threaten the lives of many minority citizens. All the while, progressive -run police departments stand down and let it happen. Then the leftist progressive media blames Trump.
Remarkable.

So ultimately a “White Pride” organization “makes sense” if we can find some force that is discriminating against white people.
And who are you to make that determination?
If a group of Caucasians wAnt to show pride in that, why would we deny them that right to free association? Why would we assume, without evidence, that there is something nefarious in it?
Now, to be sure, it isn’t the kind of group I would join. Taking pride in one’s immutable characteristics seems odd to me.

I hear Black Power, and I think of an oppressed group wanting equality, maybe through violent means ( I remember the seventies)

I hear “White Power” and I think of a group that wants to subjugate black people, thorough violence if needed (I remember all of US history)

It probably would appear that way to someone that racism might be an issue in the US, so I’ll give you some time.
I believe you should take some time to think about. Racism will not be solved by turning to authoritarian socialism. Defending a system that was responsible for the deaths of tens of millions of civilians in the last century really needs to be reconsidered.
Think on it.

And I agree, but the black power movement is ALSO associated with violent and racist tendencies, that is, black supremacy.

I’m a child of the fifties and sixties. Your statement about Church official policy is very qualified. I’m not going into specifics but other than Father Coppi, Viola Liuzzo, the Berrigans and some nuns, you did not see a whole lot of Catholics picketing about civil rights. When that bulldozer backed over the protester in Cleveland at a segregated housing project the clergyman was Protestant. Some priests were addressees of MLK’s “Letter From a Birmingham Jail”.
