In all cases, the white deaths due to police outweigh all others. However,
Quoting verbatim from your very own statistica link:
Sadly, the trend of fatal police shootings in the United States seems to only be increasing, with a total 506 civilians having been shot, 105 of whom were Black, as of June 30, 2020. In 2018, there were 996 fatal police shootings, and in 2019 this figure increased to 1,004. Additionally, the rate of fatal police shootings among Black Americans was much higher than that for any other ethnicity
Why should I assume you are correctly representing the facts in the remainder of your argument?

he unfortunate fact is that “White Supremacy” has become a bogeyman in the liberal mind, and supposedly the US is awash in violent attacks by white nationalists.
Isn’t that what Trump’s FBI director said last year?

From my perspective, I am allowed, in polite society, to honor my Dad’s heritage. I am not allowed to honor my Mom’s. Why is this okay?
Maybe your perspective does not note that majority heritage is repeatedly honored in this society.
Furthermore, particularly in elite society, being a minority in any capacity (racial or sexual) is a veritable golden ticket to limitless opportunities. White men are forced to attain coveted positions on their own merit, and more often than not, are pushed out by less qualified competitors who have the right skin color or sexual orientation.
That’s why the EEOC, 2/3 of whose caseload was devoted to claims of employment discrimination based on race, has gone out of business due to lack of complaints.

Without sarcasm, I would state that your claim is stuff and nonsense. Have you ever heard of legacy college admissions? Think of it as affirmative action for the landed gentry.

Why will some people presume that minority gains in this society are to the detriment of better-qualified whites but fail to credit that white society gained from overt discrimination against minorities?

Which clearly shows my claim is not in fact nonsense. The existence of legacy admissions does not nullify the problems caused by aggressive affirmative action programs.
No it clearly shows you may not be circumspect as to accepting some claims. You appear to jump to spurious conclusions.

Oh, I don’t think it will be solved by authoritarian socialism, but I also don’t think that Democratic leadership of the government would result in that.
I agree. Republican leadership will do much better.
If you are worried about authoritarian governments, look no further at the federal government led by Trump and the AG’s office led by Barr.
This indicates you have no clue what authoritarianism looks like. Some conservatives said the same about Obama.
Neither is the case.

Like at the federal government?
If it acts like it’s supposed to. Are you familiar with article 1, section 8?
I’d say going after political enemies
Oh, please. The leftist press, deep state, and Democrats in Congress have been working on a coup since before his inauguration. He hasn’t “gone after “ any of them. Obama has a more sinister record on that front.
forgiving the crimes of political friends
Name one he has pardoned or commuted. Again, Obama’s records fits this description.

And who are you to make that determination?
If a group of Caucasians wAnt to show pride in that, why would we deny them that right to free association? Why would we assume, without evidence, that there is something nefarious in it?
Now, to be sure, it isn’t the kind of group I would join. Taking pride in one’s immutable characteristics seems odd to me.
I’m not denying their right to free association. Florida retirees are perfectly free to make white power cliques. I am saying that the President of the United States should not amplify their clearly racist message.

That’s good to hear.

Good to hear you still support free speech.

I agree. I also think the media should not amplify the bigotry of members of the squad, the racism of some BLM members.

Most importantly, Americans of good will should reject all of it, all kinds of it, regardless of its source or goals.

Who, where is refusing interracial marriage? I live in the south and see more and more interracial couples all of the time? Interracial adoptions, too.

You mean the social programs that destroyed the nuclear family, imposed inter generational poverty and dependence of, guess who, progressive Democrats.

Besides, I thought you had read the BLM materials; they don’t want nuclear families:
We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children…

I’m sure there is a poll that asked about this and got millions of affirmatives. If not, this historian accusation is, by definition, racist.
I believe he cited LBJ’s famous quote:
If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the best colored man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he’ll empty his pockets for you.
Which very plausibly describes the motivations of people like the “white power” guy in the video for supporting Trump.

More likely the Democrat president you quoted. But alas, we don’t know what the video guy was thinking, though I’m sure we can speculate.

Colleges are trying to make up for disparities elsewhere. For example, after they graduate:

"White workers are not only more likely to have a good job than their black and Latino peers, but also hold a disproportionate share of good jobs relative to their share of overall employment, while African-Americans and Latinos are under-represented in good jobs,” the joint report concluded. Black and Latino workers are also paid less, despite the same educational attainment.
I’m sure you’re also aware of the study which found that employers were as likely to hire white people with criminal records as they were to hire black people without criminal records.

There is also the cold hard economic reality of black families being significantly poorer on average even when compared against white people earning the same income as them. This is because white people receive much more wealth through inheritances, whereas black people have not yet had an opportunity to accumulate this generational wealth, and also because black people are more likely to lose their income.

Yes, I do. This conversation is going nowhere just so you know.

I never wanted to be part of the conversation. I just intervened to save Jon the trouble.

I suggest, that if you can’t discuss these issues online, that you should bring them up with the black members of your parish. I’m sure that your catholic (i.e. universal) parish has quite a diverse membership, and I’m also sure that they will have some educational responses if you say things like this:
If a group of Caucasians wAnt to show pride in that, why would we deny them that right to free association?
to their faces.

Yes, my church is universal as it should be but what does this have to do with a conversation that’s going nowhere??

You’re no more likely to change his mind than he is yours.

Note: You’re both too politically diverse that there will be no compromising nor meetings of the mind to be had.

And I’m sure the members of my UNIVERSAL church would no more relish black power than they would white.

You won’t know unless you ask.

@jon asked why white people shouldn’t get together and make “white power” groups. If you don’t like my explanation, ask the black people in your church why white people shouldn’t get together and make “white power” groups even though black people do.
You’re no more likely to change his mind than he is yours.
That’s why I said that you should ask someone you trust. If my explanation of the context and issues aren’t convincing, ask people who are familiar to you and have more experience with the issue.

It was quicker to just say it here. I didn’t even reply directly to his post.
