You know what I mean. I’m an immigrant and so made a grammar mistake. Let me correct myself.

Lack of logic is a fatal flaw of those on the other side.
No, no, I think it was a Freudian slip. The heart and soul of the Trump movement.

Trump supports fair trade. The GOP supports free trade. Trump says that countries who are gaming the system should have high tariffs placed on them. While I agree to an extent, I worry about the possibility of a trade war.

Yeah, too late to put the genie back in the bottle.
Still no logical argument. More snark and personal attack. My point proven again.

How is it wrong to say, if you are afraid to use your weapon, then what good is your weapon?

Considering that Trump’s spokesperson has commented, and I quote: “What good does it do to have a good nuclear triad if you’re afraid to use it?”, there are bigger issues involved here.

Myopia and lack of the big picture are the fatal flaws of Trump supporters.
I am sorry for having to keep repeating this, but there are no issues that trump (like that? :D) the life issues.

Still no logical argument. More snark and personal attack. My point proven again.
Don’t you feel kind of lonely worrying about this as a Trump supporter? Trump is so all over the snark and personal attack; he has reset the clock. Logic is for elites. Have you not received the memo?

Let me ask you a question: when, outside of nuclear retaliation, do you view it acceptable to use nuclear weapons?

**“he wouldn’t have many supporters left if he did that.”

He wouldn’t have many supporters left if he disavowed white supremacists.**

Does no one else have an issue with this statement?

This is a catholic forum. The people consistently vilified on this forum have been trump supporters. They have now been called white supremacists.
Race-baiting, progressives thrive on at hominem attacks, rather than discussing the issues.
Basically, Trump wants to have his cake and eat it, too. Superficially keeping white nationalists at arm’s length while co-opting their message and packaging it in terms designed to appeal to his low-attention span audience.
Darryl Revok;13709354:
That was then, and this is now; save evidence of current ties and pandering to the white nationalist base, I must deem this line of attack frivolous.
You are projecting big time. Be an adult and stop race-baiting!
The DNC is not being split apart by basic ideological differences and middle school-esque shouting matches.
Yea, the DNC and DWS rigged the Dem primary to be smooth sailing for Hillary, no competition and just a handful of debates. Debbie will be gone by the next election cycle.
This is probably an uncharitable opinion, and may very well get me banned, but if you are representative of the average Trump supporter in re: national security and nuclear weapons, then your kind is a menace to the survival of the Republic, and *deserves *to be marginalized and removed from the electoral process. I can only cross my fingers and hope for rampant anti-Trump voter fraud.
Darryl, be an adult and stop using ad hominem attacks. Trump’s policy of a strong but non-interventionist military is very centrist.
**
It’s despicable that you propose rampant Dem voter fraud as a justified response.**

Let me ask you a question: when, outside of nuclear retaliation, do you view it acceptable to use nuclear weapons?
Nuclear weapons should never be used unless all else has failed. The bombs on Japan were controversial. Knowing what Japan did in CHina and was continuing to do and knowing how the Japanese soldiers would never give up the fight unless they were utterly debilitated, I’m not sure the bombs weren’t necessary. Truth is, I don’t know.

But back to the quote itself. There is nothing in that quote that is logically wrong. She didn’t say that you have to initiate a nuclear war. All she said was you can’t be afraid of using the weapon. How is that wrong?

looks, in vain, for the “Clean HRC’s clock in the general” option

😃

His surrogate’s casual approach to the question of nuclear weaponry is not.
It’s despicable that you propose rampant Dem voter fraud as a justified response.
Who said anything about rampant **Dem **voter fraud? 😉

I have not used personal attacks here. All I see is personal attacks against trump supporters on this forum. I feel very sad actually. But not lonely, definitely not as a trump supporter.

I am talking about Trump, not his supporters. The leader sets the tone, the ethics. (or lack thereof)

I am talking about Trump, not his supporters. The leader sets the tone.
If he’s not your leader, then why are you using his supposed tone?

My reason for being here is to show that Trump supporters are not emotional angry crazy people devoid of sense. I try to put forth good arguments backed by good verifiable details. Sometimes I’ve been able to correct false stories here, for which I’m glad. But the attacks on trump supporters truly take me by surprise. I do understand it’s worse out there on secular forums.

He isn’t done, because his supporters don’t care what he says. As I saw one of them say on camera, I grew up with his apprentice show, I love him. I mean shoot, the guy has joked about hecklers being beaten with clubs and his audience laughs, that’s how sick they are.
I meant that Trump is done as far as the general election is concerned. I fully expect him to win the GOP nomination.

Has any candidate ruled out the use of nuclear weapons?

I think we are getting back to the logic as fatal flaw problem…what are you accusing me of here.
I feel disappointed that you are being snarky. I told you it was a grammar mistake. English is not my native language. You said it was a freudian slip, heart and soul of the trump campaign.

Daryl has not been able to give a logical refutation on that quote about being afraid to use one’s weapon.

There’s a difference between the use of the nuclear weapons in a retaliatory function, which every president since Truman has pretty much committed to, and treating them as just another weapon (e.g. the triad comment, Cruz’s comment about seeing if “sand glows in the dark”, etc.)
