I didn’t get the memo that you are the judge and the case is finalized.

Fact of the matter is, voters are not fools. They will take this information and do with it as they wish. You can precondemn trump; others will wait for the court to have the final say. Don’t jump on voters simply because they won’t jump to conclusions like you. It’s an insult to others when you say, they just don’t care.

From today’s Guardian:
Mounting a stage at a public park in downtown Dallas, Marco Rubio pulled out his phone before a crowd of more than 3,000 and began reading from Donald Trump’s Twitter account.
In an extended opening to his stump speech on Friday, Rubio relentlessly mocked the Republican frontrunner for misspelling a series of tweets.
“Just like Trump Tower, he must have found a foreign worker to do his own tweets,” Rubio quipped.
It was the sort of theatricality usually associated with Trump, the bombastic showman. But bravado is clearly catching in the Republican primary race, where with only four states decided, there is mounting hysteria that Donald J Trump’s hostile takeover of the Republican party is a done deal.

It looks like the Republican campaign is turning into a brawl:
Rubio was reading out tweets to the crowd from Trump, one of them said, “Lightweight Marco Rubio was working hard last night. The problem is, he is a choker, and once a choker, always a chocker! Mr. Meltdown.”
“Let me tell you something. Last night in the debate during one of the breaks, two of the breaks, he went backstage, he was having a meltdown,” said Rubio.
He continued, “First, he had this little makeup thing applying like makeup around his mustache, cause he one of those sweat mustaches. Then, then he asked for a full length mirror…maybe to make sure his pants weren’t wet.”

Facts eventually are revealed (hopefully). This “fraud case” isn’t deserving of the court’s time and certainly isn’t worth being a campaign issue. Just some opportunists that try to get a settlement from their target - that doesn’t work so they continue to the court. These type of lawsuits actually cost us (the taxpayers who pay for the judges and courts, the bench, the gavel, clerks, court reporters. How many times have we heard of these lawsuits? Its become another bureaucracy where self interest reigns supreme!

Yes, that’s the question alright.

Did I hear Rubio speaking this morning? I think so, saying perhaps Trump is not properly vetted.

I guess I don’t really blame Rubio but it is sad to watch him stoop to Trump’s level. The media is finally covering his rallies though, so I guess that’s why he’s doing it.

I never thought I’d see the day that two candidates for the highest office in the land were talking about such things as who was wearing the most make-up and who wet their pants during the debate. It’s just…sad.

We need a “heavy sigh” emoticon. 😦

Count on Rubio to keep “Trump University” in the forefront of the campaign. He’d be foolish not to, as a matter of fact.

I agree that he’d be foolish not to.

If Trump is innocent in the whole thing, he’s got nothing to be concerned about. In fact, if Trump did nothing wrong he should encourage Rubio to pursue it.

Trump’s been in the public eye for 30+ years. I’m not sure how anybody can argue that he hasn’t been vetted. He’s been vetted more thoroughly than Rubio.

Precisely. Which is a sad state of affairs for this country that a sizable minority of people think he is fit to be president.

Trump is a bully, but a lot of his supporters seem to like that.
With his enormous online platform, Mr. Trump has badgered and humiliated those who have dared to cross him during the presidential race. He has latched onto their vulnerabilities, mocking their physical characteristics, personality quirks and, sometimes, their professional setbacks. He has made statements, like his claims about Ms. Jacobus, that have later been exposed as false or deceptive — only after they have ricocheted across the Internet.
Many recipients of Mr. Trump’s hectoring are fellow politicians, with paid staff members to help them defend themselves. But for others, the experience of being targeted by Mr. Trump is nightmarish and a form of public degradation that they believe is intended to scare off adversaries by making an example of them.

I wish it wasn’t such a long drive, or I’d have gone out and listened to him. I thought he did great in the last debate.

Thanks for the link, it was an interesting article.

Hopefully, Cruz will get the nomination before then.
I think he’ll take Texas from Trump, but I don’t think Cruz will get the nomination. We should be able to gauge this more after Super Tuesday, and especially after March 15th. Right now, I suppose Cruz has a better chance at a brokered convention than Rubio does.

if the American people want to nominate a blowhard showoff to the office of president, then that is their choice.
At least now he is being called out on it and being shown for the lightweight buffoon that he has always been.

History repeats itself first as tragedy, then as farce. electing an empty suit Obama for president was tragic for America’s stature in the world.

Now comes the farce.
