My party if they had had 16 other candidates would not have nominated Donald Trump.

It has already been pointed out that to RR that Deutsche bank has been laundering the money of Russian kleptocrats. I am surprised, al things considered, that he brings up thier loans to Trump as though it were favorable to him.

You miss the whole point of my comments.I said all things being equal,Trump being your nominee,would you have supported him ,as the only option to what you considered a vote against keeping out of office a repugnant and totally unacceptable candidate from the opposing party,who presumedly would win otherwise.I am guessing that yes you would.

I didn’t vote for him, but a) he won, so he’s our President and b) if he’s going to be President it is not unfair to expect him to do the job as well as he said he would and according to the standards he set when criticizing his predecessors.

If he’s committed any crimes, I hope he is removed, but to be frank the chances are that he has not committed any crimes that will even get him impeached and even if he has the chances are that he would survive an impeachment. He seems very reckless with the law, yes, but the idea that he is what we get and the best option is to pressure him to do the right thing is just realistic.

I’d argue that these are the people who need to insist that he clean up the stuff they’ve been conceding so that he has a better chance of doing what they hope he will do.

First of all, having 52 Senators isn’t a majority that can do whatever it wants. I realize that makes for good left-wing talking points since they cannot win on substance, but usually 60 votes are need or the process gets more complicated. If people have a problem with that, they should ask New Hampshire (Live or Die? :rotfl:), West Virgnia, Missouri, North Dakota ect. why they voted for Democrat Senators.

Secondly, the Deep State is basically committing acts of treason against the United States with its intelligence leaks is trying to undermine President Trump at any cost—including the national security of America in a petty display.

A grave miscalculation on their part and the price of their sheer arrogance from their ivory towers in Boston, Silicon Valley LA, Manhattan and K street.

Except when you have 52 but only need 50 and have a VP arriving near midnight to break a tie. And 2 women vote no. And a Vietnam veteran who the Republican President once described as not a war hero walks in after flying cross country right after a cancer diagnosis. And the veteran gives the President and Mitch McConnell a thumbs down.

Feel free to stop with the identity politics at any time. Whether someone is a veteran or a woman voting in the Senate is utterly meaningless, but I know people have to play that game if they don’t have substance-----or think they owe the federal government everyone else’s freedom because they were raised by a single Mom or had a personal tragedy in life.

Also, it’s pretty obvious to me how the left really feels about veterans by their spitting on them when they came back from Vietnam and saying “go insurgents go kill all USA soldiers”. For women, well, they don’t like to talk about the negative effects of abortion, but we know you’ve got that covered with the lame excuse “Christians who just believe differently”, which I guess means then that slave ships are fair game again?

And no, Sy Noe, 52 votes is not enough to get things done in the Senate. The chamber has a series of financial procedures among other things in the checks and balances of the system. It’s not the same when the Democrats crammed down a bill unilaterally with bipartisan OPPOSITION when they had 60 votes due to their ability to fool Alaskan voters over Ted Stevens and the shenanigans of the Al Franken campaign who I still think was not legitimately elected to his first term.

Not sure who myou have in mind? But it is a good goal for all - even Scaramucci. Trump, however, is POTUS That comes with a heightened responsibility.
