What an absolutely crude post. Can’t you express yourself better than that?
It’s modeled after the person of the POTUS.

One cannot object to crudity in one forum while endorsing and voting for it in another.

I think the Catechism is pretty clear that voting Republican, these days, is sinful.

The Party of Family Values has among its top brass 11 ex wives/current wives. 11!

Well, I guess we can’t count Scaramucci anymore. So make that 9. 😦
Still waitng for an answer to my original question.Actually, the lack of response is very telling and pretty much what I figured. Those of you on the left who cannot fathom anyone having voted for Trump, know darn well that of the situation were reversed re what was at stake for your party. and he was your candidate, you would have voted for him too.😉 I have you all figured out!

Wow. Do you stand in front of your microwave with your cupasoup and pace because it’s taking 60 seconds to cook?

I think etiquette suggests on a forum that you give someone perhaps 2 days to actually respond.

So…wait a bit and I’ll answer your question based on my own agenda and time constraints.

Or, you can pace in front of your microwave demanding that it takes 10 seconds before you can enjoy its artificial goodness.

Makes no matter to me. 🤷

Ahh, no. Back in the not-so-distant days when Trump was basically a Democrat, and was occasionally making noises about running for president, we thought the idea was ridiculous.

I wasn’t directing my comment to you alone, generally.A few days, geez seems most antinTrumpsters are all over anything related to him in a nanosecond. You know what? Don’t even bother responding,I think that would be the way to go,👍
BTY,I never eat Cup,o Soup,I have better taste than that!😉

For* my* party?

Which party is that?

If you can answer that correctly then I will be able to address your original question.

I’m going to repeat this post, which I made earlier here on this thread regarding folks who can’t think in the abstract or understand hypotheticals:
LOL!

This is like a person listening to a homily of the Prodigal Son thinking, well, I’ve never longed to eat what pigs eat so this can’t be about me.

"And he longed to eat his fill of the pods on which the swine fed, but nobody gave him any."–Luke 15

OnMG! Do you not have ANY sense of humor or the ability to grasp sarcasm when you see it.?Unbelievable:eek:

Where in the Catechism does it say that?

The answer is NONE. No reputable bank would lend him money.
Deutschebank isn’t a reputable bank? It has loaned him plenty after his subsidiary’s Chapter 11.

Of course, that alone gets Deutschebank investigated by the hate Trumpers.

Trump is condemned if someone doesn’t loan him money, and if someone has.

Word to the wise…don’t even go there;)
Too late. Already said.

I do realize, though, that it probably has invited all the pseudo-moralists to allege that their own hatreds are somehow Catholic doctrine.

Yeah, you’re probably right. Shouldna dunnit.🙂

Where in the Catechism does it say that?
2444 “The Church’s love for the poor . . . is a part of her constant tradition.” This love is inspired by the Gospel of the Beatitudes, of the poverty of Jesus, and of his concern for the poor. Love for the poor is even one of the motives for the duty of working so as to “be able to give to those in need.” It extends not only to material poverty but also to the many forms of cultural and religious poverty.

Where in the Catechism does it say that?
1716 The Beatitudes are at the heart of Jesus’ preaching. They take up the promises made to the chosen people since Abraham. The Beatitudes fulfill the promises by ordering them no longer merely to the possession of a territory, but to the Kingdom of heaven:

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
Rejoice and be glad,
for your reward is great in heaven.

Where in the Catechism does it say that?
2433 Access to employment and to professions must be open to all without unjust discrimination: men and women, healthy and disabled, natives and immigrants. For its part society should, according to circumstances, help citizens find work and employment.

Where in the Catechism does it say that?
2241 The more prosperous nations are obliged, to the extent they are able, to welcome the foreigner in search of the security and the means of livelihood which he cannot find in his country of origin. Public authorities should see to it that the natural right is respected that places a guest under the protection of those who receive him.

Political authorities, for the sake of the common good for which they are responsible, may make the exercise of the right to immigrate subject to various juridical conditions, especially with regard to the immigrants’ duties toward their country of adoption. Immigrants are obliged to respect with gratitude the material and spiritual heritage of the country that receives them, to obey its laws and to assist in carrying civic burdens.
