Not that I enjoy giving aid to the enemy. But democrats better move away from these tantrums. Both houses are republican, most states have a republican governor, and the presidency was lost in the electoral college. But the progressives seem to want to portray all who support trump as ignorant, racist, bigots. The unenlightened flyover people.
If they ignore thier blue collar roots and continue to berate and belittle them. They will be forever the elite, progressive, secluded, liberals, and they will shrink and shrink.

I wish it were, but people still say he’s not their president.
The entire nation suffered for the past eight years, but only half the nation knew it. Now, the entire nation has the hope of benefiting from a turnaround and the other half of the nation does not know it.

Agree or disagree, pundit P.J. O’Rourke states “At the core of liberalism is the spoiled child — miserable, as all spoiled children are, unsatisfied, demanding, ill-disciplined, despotic and useless. Liberalism is a philosophy of sniveling brats.”

Marches, demonstrations, riots etc. tend to bear this out.

👍
I like Trump and most of what he stands for. The difference is, if Hillary would have won I would not be throwing a hissy fit and speaking disrespectfully about the President of the United States! I am soooo over the cry babies!! All this silly " He’s not my President" guess what?..He is your President unless you leave the United States!!! Like it or not!!
Sorry for the rant…lol

And he even set a record on disapproval.

A Gallup poll released Saturday shows Trump’s disapproval rating at 51 percent. According to The Hill, this sets a new record for the amount of time it takes a majority of the public to disapprove of a president.

And he not only broke the record, leave it to Trump, numbers appear very important to him and he smashed it! Winning by several hundred days less than it took Americans to disapprove of past presidents.

Trump 8 days
Clinton: 573
Reagan: 727
Obama: 936
Bush II: 1205
Bush I: 1336

So what?

You don’t know it will be for a very long time. No one knows. He could be impeached and removed from office or he could resign or he could lose in less than 4 yrs or not run again. And I certainly don’t wish him ill but none of us are promised tomorrow. I’m younger than he is and I’m not.
More sore loser tallk. Impeachment for what?

And that and $4.95 will buy his opponents a small drink at Starbucks.

Like it or not, the man has the keys to AF1 and will have them for a very long time. His opponents would do better to work off their Purgatory, except that many fail to believe in it.

ICXC NIKA
I believe in it!

It really is fascinating to see the left not only being oblivious to what lost them the election, but actually doubling down on it.

Minority conservatives are well aware of the “caring” nature of the fringe left.

Like any totalitarian dictator philosophy it’s so great for you it just has to be forced if you don’t like it.
This. ^ This so much. As if we’re supposed to believe Obama and Clinton are morally offended by Trump! Please. I’m just picturing Hillary’s reaction to Qadaffi’s rape and murder, and Obama’s entire tenure, absolute merciless destruction of Libya, etc. And these are the people the media paints as holding the moral high ground, nobly objecting to Trump because he’s ungroovy and unmellow. 😃 And of course they’re not foaming at the mouth because he’s not their globalist tool. Oh no, that has nothing to do with it!

Is it fair to say, seeing some of the vitriol being exchanged, that America has been divided and polarised as never before - left vs right, liberal vs conservative, Trump vs Obama, Democrat vs Republican?

The question then becomes how sustainable is this division, and what Trump and others can do to try to unite and heal the warring factions. I would say not a good start.

I’ll get my coat.

We live in a post-truth world now. Basically whatever the media says and whatever the popular opinion is based on the media’s stories, that is the golden standard in truth. The popular opinion, since liberals dominate all the influential areas (media, academia) is that Trump is Hitler.
I don’t see Trump as a monster, to me that is just some story cooked up by the media.

Piers Morgan lmao
I agree, Piers Morgan is laughable. He is right up there with Keith Olbermann in my opinion. That being said, I think this is one of those “broken clock” times where he is right.

how true!

Actually, the other half (read 60%) is suffering now. And we’re not going to shut up. So prepare for 4 years of this (prob 2, realistically, no way Trump isn’t impeached).
You see this is why we have division. If you must feel this way and desire war within your own country, bring it on! president Trump will win and along with him dignity of life and country. Liberals have so long been accustomed to having weak-kneed republicans they can blame and push over, not this time!

Thank God for trump-- a warrior for our times.

This is literally what the Tea Party did

Yes. I’d always heard the stereotype that the left never compromises or apologizes, and now I’m seeing it play out. Can they help themselves? I really didn’t want to believe it, even after being surrounded during college. If it’s true that there are ties between communism, socialism, and liberalism, then maybe it’s true they see politics as the main source of salvation. Hence, opposition to their dogma is immoral and evil. (Of course, they would say the same is true of the right. All this has given me a lot of food for thought.)
