“Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel #coronavirus (2019-nCoV) identified in #Wuhan, #China,”
It is misinformation for sure.

Even the Chinese doctors were warning the world about this (some of them disappeared).

It is only NOT “misinformation” if you play word games like this . . .
“Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no CLEAR evidence . . .
1cthlctrth. I know YOU know this but there are lurkers here.

For them . . .

Don’t anyone be fooled by the semantics.

This is no time for such game playing by the WHO.

Thanks. I think it’s clear what any thinker would interpret the WHO was saying on January 14th.
(Just so you know, I’m more concerned about fair-minded readers than about contrarian commenters who will never say anything good about pro-life politicians.)

Yes. Of course I know that.

And if there were not lurkers here that may have NEED of real information, I probably would ignore some more of the ridiculous comments.

I agree that it is clear:

“Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel #coronavirus (2019-nCoV) identified in #Wuhan, #China,

Yet we had Chinese physicians warning otherwise.
And the WHO opted to put out this disinformation (which virtually everyone here now knows, was a partial truth).

This business of WHO in the news reminded me of an interaction I had with them in 2009. Basically, they denied in an email to me that a particular committee at WHO validated the work of Dr. Linoli on the Eucharistic Miracle at Lanciano. However, they did not reply to a subsequent email asking if a different committee or staff member validated it. I later discovered a scan of an abstract report validating the science involved. That abstract was stamped with a WHO seal. Read the account in this old, old thread:

Examples of miracles Apologetics
As promised, I am getting back to you on this allegation. The Zenit story claims that a scientific commission by the WHO examined the earlier scientific work of Dr. Linoli. Dr. Linoli concluded that the tissue at Lanciano was not preserved by artificial means, lending credence to a “miracle” occurring. The article even says this commission conducted 500 tests the “extract” of which was published in 1976 in New York and Geneva. If this was a fabrication, it was a peculiar one. How easily co…

Dr. Michael Osterholm, a Minnesota-based epidemiologist who coauthored the 2017 book Deadliest Enemy: Our War Against Killer Germs, disagrees with President Trump’s decision to withhold funds from the World Health Organization.
