To Christ the Great Physician
We know that there is one physician:
Both flesh and spirit
uncreated, yet born
God in man
True life in death
From both Mary and From God
Subject to suffering and then impassible
Jesus Christ our Lord!

We ask O Great Physician, for spiritual, physical, and emotional healing, especially my intention of TIM.
You of both flesh and spirit

May we spend all of our days in your healing presence
You the eternal Son born for us

Grant us the healing benefits of your Incarnation, Death, and Resurrection
You who are true God and true man

Grant us your true life in the midst of death
You, the true life in death

Grant us to follow your example and that of your Blessed Mother
You, from both Mary and from God

May our suffering be for our growth; free us, we pray, from that which we cannot bear

Home stretch - done this Thursday 4/15 - if I can make it!

Radiation has done me some harm! 😦 In fact, so has Chemo - but I guess the point is that it has done more harm to the cancer, right?👍

Going to the bathroom extremely painful, and although that may sound funny, trust me, it is a daily reminder that I am NOT good at suffering:(

They tell me that will all wear off in the next month and my my body will start to act normally…except for the things that don’t!

Dear Lord,
You know my friend so much better than I do. You know his/her sickness and the burden he carries. You also know his heart. Lord, I ask you to be with my friend now, working in his life. Let your will be done in my friend’s life. If there is a sin that needs to be confessed and forgiven, Lord, please help him to see his need and confess. Lord, I pray for my friend because your Word says I should pray for his healing. I believe you hear this earnest prayer from my heart and that it is powerful because of your promise. I have faith in you to heal my friend, but I also trust in the plan you have for his life. Lord, I don’t always understand your ways, and why my friend has to suffer, but I trust you. I ask that you look with mercy and grace toward my friend. Nourish his spirit and soul in this time of suffering and comfort him with your presence. Let my friend know you are there with him through this difficulty. And may you be glorified in his life and also in mine.

Remember O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
 
Tim…Bless your heart…you have carried your cross,done battle and now your healing can begin…the hair will come back…there are lotions that will aid the burns and heal the skin and each day the pain will hopefully begin to subside a little more until it is gone…when you feel the need to cry- let it pour…it releases the chemicals in your body to comfort and ease pain- the endorphins…keeping those emotions inside will only hinder your healing-certainly nothing to be embarassed about…don’t sweat the small stuff and don’t dwell on the negative…wrap God’s love around you like a blanket and a shield-to comfort and protect you…and live…👍:grouphug:

I am praying for you tonight and will be praying for you tomorrow as you complete what will hopefully be your final treatment. Your cheerfulness is amazing. Please hang in there.
