is anyone else bored of this show or at least this part of the show? I loved it the first few years and only watched the making fun of the contestants part. However, after enjoying the ridiculing for a few shows I just got bored this season. It just is not funny to me anymore. However, I still will watch it once it gets to Hollywood and if I hear about any specifically funny audition with lots of ridiculing, I will download it online.

Yes, I watched it completely through one year, since, I’ve only watched once they get to Hollywood, although occasionally I’ll tune in for a minute or two while I’m channel surfing.

Actually, I really only like it once they get to the live performances, but I will start watching the Hollywood tryouts, just in case something interesting happens.

Well I am in the Birmingham area. Folks here kind of take American Idol seriously 👍

I watched a good bit toward the end with Ruben ( our son knows him). Then too with the last one, his mom comes on the salon where my daughter is a massage therapist, so they got updates every week on how he was doing. Also, about all the changes they go through, in their learning and development of their talents. So from that perspective it has been kind of interesting.

The big thing is the town really comes out in support of them, and that is what makes the difference. But, myself personally, I really don’t watch it overall.

Southern talent rocks!!🙂

Paris was born in our city and her family has local roots. It was the same way here–everyone was rooting for her last season. She was incredibly talented!
