I was just surprised that Dannielle found him
Indeed. I know some people aren’t a fan of this “time jumping” thing, but the one cool thing about it is that we will actually get to see many interesting parts of the island’s back story. We may get to see exactly how all of Dannielle’s shipmates get killed, along with how Ben manages to steal her daughter.

That’s exactly what I am excited about! Some people wonder what it was that killed Dannielle’s group, and now we get to find out.

I know. It will be nice to get some answers to these questions that we’ve had for so long! 🙂

I know! I’m excited about that too!

I wasn’t surprised at all. I knew it was coming…seeing Danielle from the past and seeing Jin alive, LOL. So predictable! Danielle’s group probably just gets killed with those flying fire darts, just like the Losties.

Somewhere in the recesses of my mind, I seem to recall in a conversation between Danielle & Claire, that Danielle intimated that the people with her, including her husband, got some disease (went crazy?) and SHE killed them. I think she was telling Claire that if she needed to take care of business (kill the baby), that she should do it.

Does anyone think that Jin will save Roussou’s team members? At first I thought maybe Roussou would kill Jin along with the others, but it would really just be a waste of bringing Jin back in the first place.

Maybe Jin is carrying the disease that makes them all go crazy? Talk about your paradoxes.

No one commented on the return of Jin. I guess there’s not much to say yet as it happened towards the end of the episode.
Is he moving through time with the rest of the survivors, or is he stuck in Rousseau’s time?

He should be moving through time like the rest of them…
Since he’s stuck in the water, he wouldn’t have known it though.

Anyone know when the episodes are posted on abc.com?

I’m going to the movies tonight and might episode tonight’s episode.

I’m hoping it becomes available online right after the television airing.

I’m not sure of the exact time, but I believe it goes up the day after it is aired on TV. I don’t know whether that means midnight or 8am or some other time, though.

Interesting that the network is now using humor to try to gain back some of its lost viewers. I keep noticing these short 30 sec. spots during the commercials of the program following Lost which feature cardboard cutouts or action figures of Lost characters talking in a self-mocking, falsetto voice.

“Ben” also appeared in a prepared bit on Jimmy Kimmel later that night poking fun at “the numbers”.

The new marketing devices are a contrast to their previous marketing gimmicks which had more of an enigmatic quality (e.g., mock Oceanic Airlines commercial and hotline, mock Dharma Initiative and Hanso Foundation websites).

I’ll have to disagree with people about the show making even less sense than before. Maybe it’s because I did a “marathon” viewing of seasons 1-3, having never seen them before. When I got finished with that, I had to catch up 1/2 of season 4 online. Then got to finish the rest of season 4 on the Tele. Now I started watching season one January of '08 (or whenever the writer’s strike started and my other fav shows were put on hold). So I watched 4 whole seasons within like 4 months or so. It gets addicting when you know you can watch the next episode right away.
Anyway, my friend kept asking “so did you notice” (she’s been watching from the beginning and following the stuff online). I was like “yep”. I think it’s because I watched it all together, with no gaps.

I really see Season 5 as filling in some missing pieces. There have been a lot of AHA! moments.

Understandably most people don’t have the time to stay up late and such to re-watch from the beginning. So I can understand how it is not piecing together, instead adding extra lost pieces.

I’m really enjoying Season 5 so far, though I have to say I like seeing them online/on DVD better…I don’t have to be left hanging if i don’t want to. 😉 The suspense is killing me!

Just thought of something. Anyone remember this:

(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

I wonder what clue was meant by this prop and why it looks so photoshopped. Did they just have a lousy production designer? LOL

I’m also wondering if Jack and Desmond’s encounter while running and the fact that Libby was in the mental institution with Hurley have something to do with time-travel.

Also why does Daniel Faraday need a caretaker (lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/Daniel%27s_caretaker) and what’s up with his mom?

I wonder if they’re all just from some mental institution and everything is a reality in their heads.

I had the theory of it all being in Hurley’s mind. Since he’s the clinically insane one (or so they say). I asked my friend “Do you think that maybe this is all just Hurley’s imagination?”…

How weird. That’s exactly the same timeframe and manner that my wife and I watched Lost! We got Seasons 1-3 from the Library starting about a year ago, and then went through the first half of Season 4 online before finally being able to watch the remainder of the season as it aired. Eerie! 😉

I know that the writer’s have explicitly dismissed the theory that the whole series is a dream. I’m not sure if psychotic imagining would qualify as a dream or not, though. 🙂

Yes, that is Mrs. Hawkings in the photo. We also saw her when Desmond was in a jewelry shop looking for a ring for Penny.
Yeah, I know, but is there a reason why it’s so badly photoshopped? The producers know full well that fans scrutinized every single detail of the show and to do such a poor photoshop job on a prop they wanted viewers to see doesn’t make sense unless if it was purposely done.
