Interesting. I don’t remember the character’s name but the ‘other’ with the eye patch - he ‘died’ at the fench, with a harpoon in him, and possibly a grenade. I wonder though about that - whether Charlie, Ana Lucia, etc are appearing to Hurley via time travel before they died or if it’s a paranormal kind of thing.

I don’t remember where I heard this, but someone brought up the theory that Hurley was able to see those who had passed on. That was the reason that Hurley saw “Dave” at the mental institution. “Dave” was said to be “David”, Libby’s late husband. But that’s a whole different thing to talk about.

Well, Faraday was pretty insistent with Desmond that he go see his mom at Oxford as though it would help them in their “time jumping” situation. Presumably this is because she is also familiar with this time travel physics stuff. Desmond is on his way to go see her, so I know they’ll be introducing her as a character soon. So when I saw an older woman who seemed to know what was going on, I figured it had to be her.

Yeah. When Desmond went to buy a ring for Penny, the old lady told him that he wasn’t supposed to do that. After that, she showed him how that one man was supposed to die and that Desmond shouldn’t fight fate.
Oh yeah. Now I remember that. I’ll probably need to buy/borrow the DVDs and watch the series again before it’s all over. There’s just so much going on it’s hard to keep track!
