Who was the woman so sick in the bed? I thought that was Fairaday’s (?) mother? But then they said she lives in LA?

I’m so :confused:

Remember the janitor that said “I can’t believe what he did to that girl, and then just took off” or something like that. The girl in the bed was that girl. And we were supposed to infer from what her sister said that Faraday tried to send her mind back in time and instead screwed up and made her that way. Her sister said she jumps around, one minute she’s 3 years old, next minute she’s someone else, etc.

IMO that blondie chick with the gun during the bomb part is Faraday’s mother 50 years ago.

I want to know, what did they do with the bomb?
 
I think Widmore gave Desmond Sun’s address (not Faraday’s mother) and he’ll go there and somehow get trapped into going back to the island (since they all have to go back together). Especially since he promised Penny he would never go back.

Nah, I think that he gave her Faraday’s mom’s address. She’s there with Ben in LA. So are all the other of the 6. So he’s going to end up with them anyways, and they’ll all go back to the island together. I just hope Penny and Charlie go with him, might as well all be happy together if he’s destined to be there.
 
ahh! I had to do something else while Lost was on and had the mute button on. It didn’t really look as good as the last episode. I’m going to read the episode recap. 😃

Yeah, at least for the last couple years. They only have 2 or 3 commercials per episode, so very few interruptions. We didn’t get into Lost when it first came out, so we started at season 1 and watched all the way through the first 3 seasons online free. I think they’re all still up there, but I haven’t checked since this season started.
 
Just watched it. Do you think the others see them disappear as the flash of light comes?
 
I’ve defended LOST quite a bit over the last couple years, but I have to admit this show has become a silly, muddled, mixed-up mess.

To see them contort storylines to try to connect loose ends is just too much. To see them take obviously minor throw-in characters and then to now try to pry them into the story and act like they were major components all along is maddening.

When they added the time-jumping in an effort to iron everything out it became even worse than the mixed up mess it had gotten to be. They thought they were tying things together–instead it opened up another can of worms. Or twelve cans.

I still enjoy it overall, but I don’t blame anyone for letting it go.

Oh what a great show this could have been!

I thought it was nice that they named the kid Charlie.
 
So how old IS Richard? How does he manage to stay looking so young?

It bothers me that I don’t know this!

Someone on the LOST forum speculated that maybe he’s from ancient Roman times.

or he probably just got magical powers from all the radiation, lol.

I just remembered…I think the reason someone came up with the idea that Alpert is from Roman times is because he made everybody learn Latin.
 
I think Richard is an android, but I only really think that because everyone says he is simply time traveling, and i want to say something different.

But hey, when you think about it, he doesn’t seem to get very emotional, no matter what crazy stuff is going on…
 
No one commented on the return of Jin. I guess there’s not much to say yet as it happened towards the end of the episode.
