Hard to say.

Similarly, in an episode a few weeks ago, Locke had been shot by Ethan right before a “time jump”. After the jump, Locke saw someone in the woods with a torch. That someone was wearing a reddish shirt and a bracelet of some sort. Then Richard pops out of the trees wearing black and no bracelet. Without that little wardrobe issue, I would have assumed that the guy in the woods was Richard. At this point, if it was supposed to be Richard, either the wardrobe guy made a big goof, or they are trying to communicate something interesting to the more nerdy lost fans…

Richard’s already mysterious enough without adding mid-scene wardrobe changes. Maybe he’s Jacob. Who knows?

Man, I thought I had an attention to detail! 😉 That’s pretty impressive. I did not notice that one.

Yeah, I know, but is there a reason why it’s so badly photoshopped? The producers know full well that fans scrutinized every single detail of the show and to do such a poor photoshop job on a prop they wanted viewers to see doesn’t make sense unless if it was purposely done.
Every industry has its slackers. The Photoshop is especially bad, I agree. Even Stalin did a better job with mid-20th century technology! It is similar to how the private eye report that Sun received in The Little Prince was completely unrelated to LOST and from some unrelated Internet site, as revealed through screen shots by fans. They know people are obsessed, but I suppose they have to cut corners at times just to get things into production.

Is anyone worried that this show is going to end up being seriously blashphemous and/or sacrireligious? I’ve been with it from the start but I don’t like the direction it is going in the last two episodes–& the previews for next week don’t look promising either.

No, I’ve seen worse.

I didn’t see the preview for next week, my DVR stopped recording prior to that, but I haven’t seen anything yet that I’d consider blasphemous or sacrilegious.

I think he might be referring to the fact that Locke “has to” commit suicide in order to get them back to the island and save them.

What does everyone think happened to Aaron and Sun’s child? My guess is Kate told Clair’s mother the truth about what happened and gave her Aaron. I don’t know why Sun would abandon her child though.

Not sure about Sun’s baby girl, maybe they will find a way to go get her? 🤷

I think Kate gave Aaron to HER mother! She was awfully upset, and she never wanted her mother around him…even though she thought it was her grandchild 🤷

I would have thought that Aaron, being one of the 6, had to go back as well!

I also think Desmond HAS to go back, but what will happen to Penny and Charlie???

I think he’s talking about the St. Thomas reference, the John 3:16 reference (flight 316), the Church/Dharma Station, and maybe even the Virgin Mary statues with drugs stashed inside.
That, too. :o

Yes, it was fascinating listening to evil Ben spout actual Biblical knowledge of St. Thomas.

It is difficult to know where they are going with the Island sacrifice theme, Island healing theme, women can’t bear children on the Island theme, etc.

There are plenty of biblical names in the show.

There have been theological errors made by characters as well.

That’s possible.

On the other hand, there is a forum about lost that has fans that pick up on every last detail. They would assume that the writers put things like this in on purpose. They would also assume that the writers know the fans pick up on every detail and would be that much more careful to not have unintended “mistakes”.

Maybe I remember this wrong, but didn’t Sun say something to her daughter on the phone about how she was going to have someone (Aaron) sent over to be with her? Maybe they decided to send Aaron over there. I don’t know. It’s just an idea that I have about what happened that might be wrong.

Also, I am confused about why Jin was wearing a Dharma outfit when Jack, Kate, and Hurley saw him.

guys I wanted to ask you something…Dont you think Lost might be actually evil. I mean dont you guys remember the destorying of the Virgin Mary statues? They could have easily used something else then a Virgin Mary statue. What about when Ben said, if 5000 thousand people will attend to see a mold, imagine how much would be interested in this island. The mold he was talking about is the drawing of the virgin Mary that appeared somehwere in Florida.

Threre is propably a good reason why this show is populer. It might be because its part of the world.🤷

I don’t think Sun was talking about sending Aaron to her, at that time they didn’t know they were going back to the island. I just think she had a new friend for her to meet someday.
I am still thinking it’s possible Kate sent Aaron to her mother, that’s why she’s so upset. 🤷

For Jin: I think when John moved the wheel again, he stopped time from moving, thus making those still on the island stuck in another time period. I think they are stuck there when Dharma was happening, and so they don’t get killed they are pretending to be there to “help Dharma”. I’m wondering how they will move forward again or how they will survive the Purge. Being stuck in the Dharma time period would explain why we saw Daniel, in one of the first episodes, working on the Orchid station.

That’s sort of what I was referring to in my previous post even though I didn’t give any details like you did. The thing that struck me was when he referred to Thomas and the “others” instead of Thomas and the apostles. And the fact that the Church is sitting on top of a Dharma station called the “Lamppost”–it seems like they are trying to make a mockery out of religion.

Of course, don’t forget the Season 2 episode where the Smoke Monster killed Echo because he refused to confess & repent of his murders.

Maybe I need to give up Lost for Lent.

They referenced the Clearwater image in Lost? Which episode?
