I think every Catholic should be required to read these three sources…
  1. Dr. Janet Smith’s “Contraception Why Not” which you can also buy the cd.
catholiceducation.org/articles/sexuality/se0002.html
  1. One of Christopher West’s books on “Theology of the Body”. Added recommendation is to listen to Fr. Thomas Loya who is a “Theology of the Body” expert on Relevant Radio and is from Homer Glen, IL Catholic Parish. Last, listen to Jason Evert who is another expert on the “Theology of the Body” (PureLoveClub.com).
  2. Read Humanae Vitae. It’s really a simple read and not very long.
After reading these materials, I don’t think we will have many more Cafeteria Catholic’s on the issue of contraception.

God Bless Sean but his feet need to be held to the same fire that he holds the libs to. People today don’t understand the basic reasoning for the Church’s position on ABC and abortion and it makes it easier for them to ignore it. As for Father Morris, I really enjoyed his conclave commentary and hoped him to be pastoral enough to correct Sean, not Father Euteneuer.

Argh, I wish Ratzi would just clean house and set everyone straight!
You said my thoughts exactly.

I was very impressed with Fr. Morris during the conclave, but his open letter was bad judgment and poor taste in my opinion. Obviously we don’t know what he talks to Sean about in private, but confronting and reprimanding a fellow priest - an apparently orthodox one especially - is out of line in my opinion.

My question is why he even thought it necessary to do it, what was his purpose in interjecting himself in this? Quite simply who asked him?

I hope this question isn’t changing the subject but does anybody know who Father Euteneur’s Bishop is and whether he has made any comment about this whole episode?

He is a foxnews analysis, I am quite sure foxnews was trying to calm the waters for one its best stable boys (Hannity).
