Trump is running for president today… Trump has given us his list of judicial nominees and chosen a pro-Life running mate and affirmed a pro-Life stance

Hillary is running for president today. She is radically pro-Abortion and un-apologetically so as is her running mate. She has promised to stack the Courts and wants to re-visit and overturn the Partial Birth Abortion Ban … does she get a pass just because she is a Democrat?

My ex was a teacher - you would be surprised at what teachers and coaches think and do and get away with … sadly … The press and anti-Catholics had a hay day with the Church’s Abuse scandal but our public schools are much more dangerous in that regard - and they are liberal bastions and tend to get a pass.

As for what the make up of the Congress will be - the voters will decide but it makes a difference … We hear all the time that the Republicans do nothing on life … BUT

It was Republicans in Congress who risked their political lives to pass the Partial Birth Abortion Ban [one can ask how any sane caring person could oppose this :confused:] NOT ONCE BUT THREE TIMES … three times

Passed by Republicans 1997 - VETOED by President Billy Clinton
Passed by Republicans 2003 - SIGNED into Law by President George Bush
Upheld by SCOTUS 2007 Gonzales v. Carhart

Hillary Clinton wants to overturn/override [Gonzales v. Carhart] this decision as she - Hilary considers it a bad decision …

Republican v Democrat … not the real issue for me though the Party Platforms speak volumes and that is a fact - it is the policies they collectively pledge to support and promote … one is evil - you can read them for yourself and decide :rolleyes:

Neither I nor MaryGail have EVER said Hillary was a morally good person, in fact quite the opposite. That is why we are not voting for her. BUT we also don’t believe Trump is a great person either. They both stink, hence why we are saying NO to voting for either.

We don’t post about the litany of morally corrupt choices Hillary has made because we believe them to be quite obvious so we don’t waste time there. We don’t support her, never would support her. :nope:
 
Lemme get this out of the way: the man is an adolescent playboy who happens to be a billionaire.

Given that, is there anyone who does not recognized the mass media/progressive liberal love fest?

Should we believe it is coincidence that an 11 year old tape recording is made available a month before the election? Really it was just now found?

Of course, if it were released last year there would be no DT, and if there is not DT then HRC would have no chance to win. HRC had no chance at beating Rubio or Christie or Kasich or any walking breathing opponent.

DT was HRC’s only chance to win this election, and a masterful job has been done to manipulate him into position to be her patsy, with the cooperation of the MS media.

If you remember, the Democratic party had their heads handed to them in the 2014 midterms, and this presidential election landed in the lap of the Republican party.
All they had to do was choose a normal candidate and they win easily.
And who does MS media talk about from the beginning, nonstop?
Donald Trump. Donald Trump got more free advertising from the big networks than anyone by far.

Was this all an accident?

Yes, and Hillary’s right arm-- the MSM takes care to keep her at the top with praiseworthy articles so all the Dem’s can see that she’s their best option.

I would like to say a thinking person would say you are right. But this is the US and there is not a whole lot of that going on.

Two griffters running after the money tree! I’ve no expectations except, that it could be worse.

Anyway we need to lighten up. There isn’t much left to US politics but the entertainment value.

The tape was not now just discovered. The other alleged bad language and actions that were known about him when he was a TV celebrity also were not now just discovered. The irony of all this is it shows the media is complicit in creating false narratives. It is complicit in whatever they say Donald Trump said or did. The media is unreliable as demonstrated from their attempts to smear Trump. The real question is not what Trump did or said but who else are they covering up for? Bill and Hillary is one obvious case.

I don’t think the presidency was a guarantee for the GOP. The candidates were terrible. There are plenty of people who are dissatisfied with both parties. And then within the GOP there are plenty who want the higher taxes, more social welfare, gun grabbing and more war that Hillary promises. Even if the GOP had another candidate and they won the results for conservatives could have been worse. The Bush II presidency is a good example. Actually what has often been good for conservatives is a mixed presidency and congress. It forces the GOP to actually oppose the president. The bad news is the current congress has been a lapdog for Obama.

I agree there is hardly a a hairs breath difference between the parties. I am now use to think of them as the uni-party or demopublican and republocrats.

Trump doesn’t “happen to be a billionaire”.

He worked very hard for many years to build up a company that employs more than 20,000 people.

Trump pays them well and employs many women in senior positions.

The entertainment value all depends on your perspective. The unindicted presidential candidate vs the devil spawn has created a sitcom worthy race. The indoctrination in high school American Civics class with its near worship and sanctification of the founders is the context that provides the laughter when you realize we have the SOUTH PARK choice. ‘Giant Douche and Td Sandwich’**

I agree that no one should be kissed or groped against their will. But do we know for a fact that he has done this, or, was he saying something with bravado to enhance his prowess with other males? And if you think Republicans get a pass on anything, perhaps you might consider enlarging your sources.

And as for the judges, I certainly hope there are enough Republicans to confirm the justices Trump has said he would nominate. I care to much about innocent life and some of the amendments that will be under attack if Hillary gets to make these choices.

What’s amazing are the reports coming out that Trump blocked his own campaign from doing opposition research that might have helped head off or at least limit the damage done by these litany of revelations about his treatment of and attitude toward women.

The woman that said Trump groped her on the plane, doesn’t know what kind of plane it was and the DNC gave her the wrong info about Branniff airlines. Yep, this is all a fabrication
 
30 Yrs ago this supposedly happened. Why now? Why not when it happened? Easy, it never happened.

That one woman MAY be a fabrication. Doesn’t mean the rest are. And as for why now, he’s running for president that’s why and plenty of people are willing to believe her now where before most people would have taken Trump at face value if he said it was a lie.

Most of us women who were groped by men in the 70’s, 80’s, and even 90’s didn’t tell anyone.

Why?

We would be accused of lying.
We would be accused of asking for it.
We would be branded as a whiner.
We would be accused of trying to bring someone down.
We would be accused of trying to be famous.
We would be accused of looking for attention.
We would be accused of not being team players.
We would be accused of being overly sensitive.

Sound familiar?
