Leeds alleged this week in interviews with The New York Times and CNN that Trump groped her, touching her “wherever he could find a landing spot.”

“The guy in the seat across the aisle could see. And I kept thinking, maybe the stewardess is going to come and he’ll stop, but she never came,” Leeds told CNN.

That allegation infuriated Gilberthorpe, a retiree living in northwest England, who said, “That I sat there — eyes bulging — and not intervening is nonsense.”

“If there’s evidence Trump’s done it, sure, hang him from the post, but I was there, I was in a position to know that what she said was wrong, wrong, wrong,” he said.

He immediately recognized Leeds when he saw video of her in The Times earlier this week holding up a younger picture of herself.

“Undoubtedly it was her,” he said. “I have a good photographic memory. I recognized her.”

Does a pimp like Gilberthorpe sound like a credible witness?
Gilberthorpe made headlines in 2014, when he went public with a claim that as a 17-year-old he procured boys (some who “could have been” underage”) for sex parties with high-ranking British politicians.

So does that mean your spouse has never ‘groped’ you in a way that your children wouldn’t see? Or vice versa? Although not in the gross way that that word suggests.

Respectfully, what she means, and I fully agree, is that a woman allowing all of this to happen to her is extremely unrealistic. Especially where there are others around to be able to help her and would obviously notice for themselves what was going on.

A woman is never “groped” by her own husband. That isn’t the right word. “Groping” is always an unwanted, disgusting advance, and a stranger on a plane hardly compares to a woman’s own husband.

In today’s world it is not unrealistic. The stuff that my peers got away with on the school bus ring a bell here… and that was in the 80’s and 90’s!

Why would you remember what kind of plane you flew? I don’t remember the type of plane I was on, ever, I don’t remember being informed what kind of plane it was and I have never cared.

Maybe you won’t remember the plane, but you would have made some noise, yelled, kicked, or screamed, or done something other than come forward 30 years later, 20 some days before the election.

Women reacting with tolerance is much more common than women reacting as you describe. I think you need to talk to some actual victims before declaring what they would do. Or read a book about it. The one I cited earlier might be a good one to start with.

The armrests on Braniff 727s appear to be stationary, they can’t be raised.

She also used lyrics from the Velvet Underground song to describe the alleged “groping.”

Leeds also said if Trump had kept his hands above the waist she might have been ok with it …Huh?

If he would have stuck with the upper part of the body I might not have gotten, I might not have gotten too upset. But when he started putting his hand up my skirt that was it.
