And what is worse - an allegiance to a faith but actions that are 100% counter to the Gospel of Christ - lie, cheat, steal, murder unborn … who sees no error in their ways … one who seeks to undermine the religious and moral beliefs of others - in fact have to disavow them publicly to be part of her inner circle
Or one where a person seems to be a work in progress - moving from pro-abortion to pro-life, changing the way they think and act [maybe not as fast or as complete as one would want] gathering moral advisers around them ,
People talk about choosing between the lessor of 2 evils …
In fact - each and every time we elect people [select a spouse or hire people, choose them to be friends, etc] we are choosing an imperfect person - they will have sinful moments and saintly moments … just as we do … we can only hope as they are shaping our futures - its the saintly period … our government is not Divinely protected as our Church is from all error in faith and morals … and look at some of our historical Popes
Jesus is not on the ballot - how much nicer our life would be would that be so - yet I hazard a guess he would not get 100% of the vote;
A Saint is also not on our ballot [though looking at the lives of some saints at some points in their life - they might look more familiar to our candidates then would make us comfortable] … two people are …
