Wanting and getting are two different things. And one can always hope that the violation would stop. What did they get? If they truly wanted something, wouldn’t it have led to a lot more than just groping?

"I am completely shocked and bewildered by my cousin, Summer Zervos, and her press conference today. Ever since she was on The Apprentice she has had nothing but glowing things to say about Mr. Trump. For almost a decade, my cousin would talk about how much she looked up to Mr. Trump and viewed him as an inspiration – a success story she wanted to copy. Summer would also talk about how kind and caring Mr. Trump was on the show, and how he would even visit children in hospitals without telling the press. She has praised the good things he’s done for her life, and in fact she converted her friends and our family to become Trump supporters even though we’ve never been active in politics before.
“That was until Summer invited Mr. Trump to her restaurant during the primary and he said no. I think Summer wishes she could still be on reality TV, and in an effort to get that back she’s saying all of these negative things about Mr. Trump. That’s not how she talked about him before. I can only imagine that Summer’s actions today are nothing more than an attempt to regain the spotlight at Mr. Trump’s expense, and I don’t think it reflects well.” – John Barry, Mission Viejo, CA (first cousin of Summer Zervos)

You misrepresent Leeds’ words to benefit your point. She did not say she was OK with the touching - only that she would tolerate it.Yes, you can laugh at me when I’m ok for a stranger to touch my breast but not under my skirt.
One can always hope the violation will stop, while wishing it wouldn’t so that maybe some benefit could be accrued–what a delicate balance a delicate psyche must maintain! Oh the trauma!Wanting and getting are two different things. And one can always hope that the violation would stop.
Speculation of Summer’s motives is just that. One more refutation of a trump accuser, from her cousin.

Why do you scoff at something that is completely plausible? One can always hope the violation will stop, while wishing it wouldn’t so that maybe some benefit could be accrued–what a delicate balance a delicate psyche must maintain! Oh the trauma!
I scoff at the fragile liberal convoluted sentimentality that is antithetical to logic and common sense. Why do you scoff at something that is completely plausible?

Groping women, grabbing them by the crotch/*****/naughty bits is sexual assault. To Imachine, When has Donald Trump ever said what are quoting? Because that quote you claim here was not in the Trump tape transcript with Billy Bush, because I checked it (warning: that tape and transcript of it has graphic language in case anybody reading this doesn’t know).
Yep I know a couple of women (younger than ML at the time) who reacted like you describe, afraid to make a scene and sure everyone would side with the so called man. People here are just the same as the BC defenders. It is quite possible. The psychology of sexual victimization is not so straightforward as you might think. There is strong social pressure not to “make a scene”. Leeds may have been thinking “this will end any second now”. She probably thought “If I yell or raise a stink, he could just deny it and leave me looking like a fool”. It would take an extremely self-assured and strong-willed woman to make a public scene in cases of a rich, powerful, important man gradually raising the stakes in his misbehavior. No, her behavior is very believable.
As for the eyewitness from England, he may very well have remembered that he was on a plane with Trump (who wouldn’t?) and that there was some sort of exchange going on with a woman next to him. He may even have remembered what she looked like. But if Trump was careful (and I’m sure he would be) he could do what he was doing without others seeing exactly what was going on. Sitting across the aisle from the pair is not a good position from which one can say with any certainty what was not going on. And what he interpreted as “flirting” may very well have been the woman’s attempt to “normalize” the situation and make light of it so that maybe it would stop. I think this man who shared the plane with Trump may be taking advantage of an opportunity to gain notoriety: “I saw it! I was there!”.
And you sound just, exactly like those who defend Bill Clinton.Whatever you say. All psycho-analysis and nothing that rings true to anyone with common sense.
You’ll never get anywhere, she is just the same as those who defend Bill Clinton no matter what. She is doing exactly what she disparages Clinton supporters of doing, tearing down, belittling, mocking the Trump victims. Hypocrisy it seems knows no boundaries. You misrepresent Leeds’ words to benefit your point. She did not say she was OK with the touching - only that she would tolerate it.
Respectfully, what she means, and I fully agree, is that a woman allowing all of this to happen to her is extremely unrealistic. Especially where there are others around to be able to help her and would obviously notice for themselves what was going on.
If you don’t understand that not reacting to an assault in hopes that it will just end or someone will intervene is not an incredibly common, if not the most common, response to the hundreds of sexual assaults that occur daily in America then, respectfully, you should learn more about the subject before forming an opinion on individual accounts of assault.Maybe you won’t remember the plane, but you would have made some noise, yelled, kicked, or screamed, or done something other than come forward 30 years later, 20 some days before the election.
There are two groups of people who should not be voting for either Trump or Clinton: Catholics and non-Catholics.How do you figure supporting him is objectively evil? Subjectively evil maybe, but objectively? By what measure?
Personally, I see Clinton supporting objective evil, and Trump as unpleasantly distasteful in some ways. Could he promote actual evil? He could, but she actively does.
Regardless, if that is what you believe, can I assume you believe that Catholics cannot vote for either candidate in this election? Certainly it does not simply disallow them from voting just Trump? I can see believing in neither candidate, in terms of consistent moral objections for Catholics.

bill Clintons victims claim they were forcefully raped, not trumps accusers. Bills action scenes were private where no one was there to possibly help, not for trumps accusers. Big differences. And you sound just, exactly like those who defend Bill Clinton.
Yes of course, so that hillary Clinton can become the next president. There are two groups of people who should not be voting for either Trump or Clinton: Catholics and non-Catholics.
lol, what I was thinking by that comment too.Yes of course, so that hillary Clinton can become the next president.
I love how that comment comes off initially as ‘impartial’, but if I were to hazard a guess, id guess you would lean toward Clinton? Am I wrong? If so, than I apologies. There are two groups of people who should not be voting for either Trump or Clinton: Catholics and non-Catholics.
