Trump has not done the pro-Life movement any harm … in fact the ability to move from a pro-abortion position to pro-Life is something to be celebrated …
Here’s just one example of the harm Trump has done to the pro-life cause, from a “conservative” news source:

“The letter also criticized Mr. Falwell for backing Mr. Trump even after a video from 2005, released last week, showed him bragging about his efforts to seduce and grope women. Days later, at the second presidential debate, Mr. Trump said he never did any of the things he claimed on the tape. “As if sexual assault is a shoulder-shrugging issue rather than an atrocity which plagues college campuses across America, including our own,” the statement said.”

And, another from the (conservative) National Review:
*“Yet Trump has said his extremist, pro-abortion sister, Maryanne Trump Barry, would make a “phenomenal” justice. She argued for a constitutional right to the hideous practice of partial-birth abortion. Of course, he said a few months later that he’d have to rule her out now.”

During this year’s March for Life, he was the only Republican candidate who said nothing about abortion, while all the other candidates vowed to defend every precious life — whether lives in the womb, special-needs children, or any innocent life. Trump extols the child almost aborted who becomes a “superstar,” though his views are uncertain if that child were to become a “loser” (to use his words).*

Both of these are GOOD for the pro-life cause? Really? As Trump would say: I don’t think so.

Lets see, the one on the plane is debunked
The one at the concert is debunked
The dressing room debunked
The kiss during an interview debunked
The one who said it happened in a nightclub debunked . She even sent Trump a nice letter.
Hillary has failed!!! Apparently they didn’t know there were witnesses!
this deserves repeating. 👍

No one is telling you to clamor! If you are pro-life only one candidate is yours. If you want to play word games, then the pro-death candidate was yours all along!
Only one? I’m presuming you mean Evan McMullin, who even the NYT (yes, the NYT) is saying could have a strong showing in “red states” like Utah.

Only Utah, where Mitt Romney is like a God. If Utah causes President Hillary, are we allowed to blame Mitt Romney??? Or is it all Trump’s fault?

Oh, it’s already Trump’s fault. He has damaged the pro-life movement beyond repair.

If you say you’re against abortion, how horrible of a person can you be and still get Christian support?

You want to go back and un break the egg …I would never argue that Trump is the best pro-Life candidate . I am a pragmatist … Sure - it would have been nice to have had another nominee … We do not. Sure it would have been great had Trump spoke in March - he did not and even that would not have made him the best pro-Life candidate nor made you like him anymore - me thinks. Also - to not say what he did about his sister .

As for the first - while I typically attend many pro-Life events I miss a few myself - so I do not see that as ‘harm’ and while many people become zealous advocates for Life many do so in incremental stages - each stage to be celebrated … Perhaps in another thread we can discuss the pros and cons of each … I do not write off anyone as they move from the culture of death to one of life … its a journey …

**We have before us two viable candidates … one of which will be President ** It is the system we have:

One [Trump] has said they will support life, announced a list of justices and has gathered advisers around them - many of which are highly regarded in the pro-Life movement. The party platform is pro-Life and represents the policies that every candidate at every level has signed on to promote within our society …

One [Clinton] has said they want to revisit the Gonzales v Carhart decision believing it to be a bad decision, has stated they will appoint justices that will uphold a woman’s right to chose, wants to overturn Hyde and Helms in order export abortion and use taxpayer funds to pay for abortion. One 100% of this persons advisers are pro-Abortion. The party platform is 100% pro-abortion and represents the policies that every candidate at every level has signed on to promote within our society …

Which one will do the most harm to the culture of life and the pro-Life movement?

If you are a Democrat you can be for killing the unborn, be a serial adulterer and womanizer, lie about it, get caught in the lie and still get elected to the Presidency with the Catholic vote. Heck you can even veto a ban on Partial Birth Abortion and win the presidency with the Catholic vote.

If you are a Democrat you can be for killing the unborn, be a serial adulterer and womanizer, drive drunk, wreck and cause the death of your lover, fail to report the accident even happened or get aid for that lover and still garner the Catholic vote repeatedly and be called the Lion of the Senate …

How “horrible” were these two? I am just asking because one still gets paid hundreds of dollars for speeches and gets lauded with high praises , the other did right up to their passing and is still spoken of with high praise …

What does it take to be a horrible person? It obviously is not the actions or the consequences of the actions … it must just be the party affiliation? I have heard this for years now …

Republican = Evil [horrible, mean spirited, hates all groups you can name]

Democrat = Good [positively angelic and noble - loves everyone - well except the evil ones - see above]

How convenient it would be for the one party in particular, if Christians could be convinced not to vote. Keeping in mind that most of the candidates claim to be Christian…

Thankfully, most of us are aware that the religion of man-as-god secularism has been indoctrinating generations of the young for YEARS (I remember the lessons taught) - since the last millenium - and ALL the taxpayers support this, whether it is against our religion or not.

I say their time is up. It’s time for the pendulum to swing back, and to stop slowly boiling the frog of Godlessness that has been robbing the innocent of their innocence - in our lifetime - for FAR too long!

Too, there are actually even pro-life atheists…

God bless them!
Yes, that is true! I have some close friends that are agnostic to atheist and they are pro-life though not for religious reasons. They believe life begins at conception

What is Trump but a secular candidate, perhaps more so than Clinton, who does have some allegiance to her Methodist faith. He is simply playing Evangelicals and Catholics alike for fools.

Trump is playing no one. He is the one being played.
The media manipulated him in to this position as Hillary’s patsy.
The anger of the “tea party” faction has been used against them with devastating effect by vaulting their savior into this position.

Look at the statistics in coverage. From the beginning, Trump has received waaaay more coverage than the other Repub canididates, and now his defects are receiving waaaay more coverage than Hilary’s. Like 10x more.

Trump is a tool in the hands of people way smarter and more devious than him.
