U.S. Capitol placed on lockdown

No its not, with the government being shutdown, one can speculate that this could have been caused by someone who is angry about the govt being shutdown. God willing things get settled
 
More recent updates indicate a woman tried to ram two barriers, first at the White House and then at the capitol where she was shot. It is also being reported she had a child in the car.

Can’t find anything to indicate she was armed yet. Just reports that police/security shot her.

Vehicles and motorcycles and 4x4s this week, crazy people don’t need firearms. Those are for sane people for protection from the crazy people, as we see. 😉
 
For anyone who has not visited Washington DC, be aware that less than a mile from the White House is a ghetto. Gang shootings are quite common in certain sections of the city. Despite the fact that cameras appear to be on every block, crime runs rampant in the city. Of course, you’ll never hear that on your cable news station.

I hear they embraced Green Peace and have turned in their drugs and weapons and are planting trees and helping little old lady’s cross the street now. 🤷
 
So there were shots fired at two different locations. If it is true that the child was pulled out of the car and then the woman was shut at multiple times again, then I am afraid such use of excessive force is very troubling.

I don’t know, frankly after seeing the film, I was rather surprised she wasn’t hit immediately. When they stop you and then you attempt to leave by running cops over, they consider that first degree assault on a police officer. They had her surrounded with guns drawn and she decided to back in to cars and place people’s lives at risk, “including her daughter”. Frankly I was surprised her luck lasted as long as it did.

In other words the cops didn’t put the little girl in danger, the mother did, the cops saved the little girl. I think its a documented fact now? 😛
 
Meanwhile, more than 9,500 innocent child will die of starvation today. The pain and suffering of these children is senseless, and easily preventable. Which is more of a news worthy article!?!

How many little girls and boys were aborted today? What’s senseless is the mindless culture of death. Choose to live, choose to breath everyday, even if it takes every ounce of willpower you can draw upon. 🤷

Since when does one evil negate that of another? You’re free to post on abortion if you wish, but please do not tread on my post on starvation!

Of course they rescued the little girl which is great. I understand the girl was in the back seat. If they were able to get to the back seat and rescue the girl, then I don’t understand why they didn’t arrest the mother, but rather, shot her. BTW, this is based on an eyewitness who said that she saw the police pull the child from the car before multiple shots were fired. This is what I find troubling–that she wasn’t arrested instead.

Right the child pulled from the vehicle was shown at the end. There was no mention of a child till after the shooting. So the first incident occurs, two police are hurt attempting to arrest her, she flees, and the direction she headed is toward the Capital. I haven’t seen film of the actual shooting. Sounds like another case of poorly managed mental illness so far.
